So I had a fun day at school today. We had a kiln explode in the ceramics hallway, so we spent the entire last period of the day outside in the scorching hot in our football stadium. Not my favorite hour and a half ever, but hey, now we know what happens when my AP Lit teacher takes a day off! :P
Anyway, it's off to the parallel world! Anna understands Rose's feelings, the Doctor hates not knowing, and Rose gets very harsh insults from her parallel mother.
Few twists in this one. ;) Enjoy "Rise of the Cybermen!"

"And that weird munchkin lady with the big eyes?" the Doctor asked Rose and Anna, who were sitting on the captain's chair together. "Do you remember? The way she looked at you! And then she opens her mouth, and fire comes out!"
"I thought I was going to get frazzled!" Rose giggled.
"Yeah, one minute she's standing there, and the next minute - "
"ROAR!" Anna mocked the roar, making Rose laugh hysterically.
"Yeah, where was that, then?" Mickey asked from the console. "What happened?"
"Oh, it was on this, er, this planet, er, thing," the Doctor frowned. "It's a long story, you had to be there. Er, what're you doing that for?"
Mickey looked down at the button he was holding down. "Because you told me to."
The Doctor cleared his throat. "When was that?"
Mickey narrowed his eyes. "About half an hour ago."
The Doctor fidgeted. "Er . . . you can let go now."
Mickey quickly did. "Well, how long's it ben since I could've stopped?"
"Twenty-nine minutes," Anna answered promptly as the Doctor pinched the bridge of his nose.
"You just forgot about me!" Mickey accused the Doctor angrily.
"Daddy doesn't forget about anyone!" Anna instantly rose in defense of him.
"I was just calibrating," the Doctor nodded quickly. "I know exactly what I'm doing."
The time rotor suddenly exploded, and before Rose knew what was going on, the Doctor had snatched Anna from her and had shielded her from potential damage. "What's happened?" Rose shouted as she jumped off the chair.
"The Time Vortex is gone," the Doctor checked, eyes wide.
"But that's impossible!" Anna stared.
"I know, Mara, but it's just gone," the Doctor shook his head. "Brace yourselves! We're going to crash!" Mickey and Rose grabbed onto the console as the Doctor and Anna dropped to the ground, holding onto the captain's chair. The TARDIS came to a sudden stop, sending Rose and Mickey to the ground. As masks dropped from the ceiling, the power shut off. It was the first time Rose had heard the TARDIS so quiet. "Everyone all right?" the Doctor called as he stood up, helping Anna up. "Rose? Mickey?"
"I'm fine," Mickey nodded as Rose came over to check on Anna herself. "I'm OK. Sorry, yeah."
"Daddy?" Anna asked quietly, staring at the time rotor. "I can't hear her anymore."
"I know, sweetheart," the Doctor swallowed. "I can't, either."
"Is she dead?"
"What?" Rose asked, stunned, as the Doctor nodded miserably. "You can't fix her?"
"There's nothing to fix," the Doctor shook his head. "She's perished. The last TARDIS in the universe, extinct."
"We can get help, yeah?"
