I am cleaning the kitchen again. I hate cleaning. Absolutely hate it with a passion. It's just that when I am upset or need something to preoccupy myself so I don't think, I clean until perfection.

Niall and I happen to be fighting again. I can't even remember what about anymore. I just don't want to think about him right now. Thinking about him just makes me sad now a days. It doesn't help. I think our end might be coming soon...

I am wiping over this stovetop for at least the hundredth time. There's just this one pile of sauce that doesn't want to come off. I spray some more cleaner on it and start scrubbing with my cloth. I glance at the floor because I have stepped on something then look up again.

Niall is really messy.

Wait. I glance back at the ground again. I did see something. I don't even have time to process what I am doing. I scream and jump onto the edge of the sink, bringing my legs closer to my body. I stare, frozen, at the ugly little fucker on my floor. It's a brown spider, perhaps the size of a quarter just crawling towards me. It's not skinny either, it's fat. It's huge. It is scary as fuck. Soon, the familiar blonde hair of my boyfriend is seen rushing through the doorway.

"Becca? What the fuck happened?" He asks me and moves closer. I point towards the spider and cringe. He looks towards it and smashes it with his shoe. I look away when it sticks. He wipes it off in the garbage can.

"That was a huge spider," he says and I nod my head, agreeing.

"It's safe. You can come down now," he smiles. I slowly put my feet onto the ground and stand up straight. I take a deep breath and look at him.

"Thanks Niall," I tell him.

"'Course babe. That wasn't no wee little thing," he says and I nod, going back to cleaning so I could avoid the awkwardness.

"Are you still mad?" He asks me. I just shrug.

"I thought that you were mad at me still. I didn't think that you would come save me from that wicked thing," I admit and I hear him laugh a bit.

"I'm not mad at you princess," he tells me and I feel his arms wrap around my waist. I slowly sink into him, relaxing.

"So you only came to my rescue because you aren't mad at me?" I question.

"In all honestly, I don't even remember why I was mad at you," he admits.

"Neither do I," I tell him and he raises an eyebrow realizing about how much sense I've just made.

"You never answered my question," I scold him, biting my lip and looking up at him. He smiles down at me.

"It doesn't matter if I'm mad at you Princess. I'll always protect you even if it is from something as little as a spider," he smirks melting my heart.

"That spider wasn't little," I tell him him and he laughs. "I know it wasn't," he agrees and leans down to give me a kiss, in which I later have to turn around so I can face him so my neck won't hurt anymore.

"Just remember that no matter what happens between us, I'll always love you," Niall murmurs against my lips.

Our lips are still brushing as I speak to him, "I will always love you too."
