"Ashton, get off your phone. I'm bored," I whine at him. He's never off of the damn thing. It's really starting to get on my nerves.

"One sec," he tells me for the the hundredth time this afternoon. I groan and dramatically roll halfway off of the chair. He doesn't even notice.

"What're you doing that's so important on the phone anyway?" I question. He doesn't even glance at me. I roll my eyes and grab my things. I'm not just going to watch him play on the phone all afternoon. I have better things that I could be doing.

"Where are you going?" He asks me.

"Oh so now you notice," I mumble under my breath. I turn around and see him staring at me confused.

"Out," is my response to him as I turn back around, leaving the room. I sounded overly sassy, but I don't care at this point. I hear a lot of movement behind me, but I don't stop. Soon enough, I feel his hand grasping my bicep, stopping me. I bite my cheek to stop myself from making a snappy remark.

"Please don't leave Kailey," he begs. I'm facing him again and I just raise an eyebrow at him.

"Why shouldn't I Ashton? You're just playing on your goddamn phone and don't even notice when I talk to you," I almost snap. He needs to understand that what he was doing was wrong.

"I was doing something important," he defends himself. I cross my arms as his grip is released.

"And what was so important that you be on the phone for 5 hours?" I ask him. I've been here for awhile.

"I was talking to the lads and-" he begins, but I'm so angry that I don't want to listen anymore.

"You were talking to the lads? Really? It's not like you don't spend enough time with them already. We barely see each other Ashton with you recording this new record and being on tour. It's just too much. You're ch-" I can't even finish my interruption before his lips crash onto mine. To say I'm taken by surprise isn't enough.

"W-what?" I stutter when his lips leave mine.

"They were helping me figure out a way that I could tell you that I loved you," he says with his hands still entwined in the back of my hair, bringing my forehead to his.

"Y-you do?" I ask him a bit confused.

"More than anything," he responds and moves his lips onto mine again. I allow him to kiss me with all he has and I find myself kissing him back with the same amount of passion. This is the moment I've been waiting for ever since I realized my feelings for him too. Finally he pulls apart and we're both heavily breathing, just staring into each other's eyes.

"Did you really have to be a douche before telling me that?" I ask him and he giggles like a little school girl.

"It worked didn't it though? I mean I'm pretty sure you feel the same way towards me," he says and I only raise an eyebrow at him. I notice his confidence faltering at my words. He looks a bit worried, but soon becomes confused at my laughter.

"The feelings are mutual babe," I smirk and his grin returns as he begins to tickle me, annoyed with me tricking him. Eventually though, we both just stop and lie there on his bed, fingers entwined as I lie down on his chest. His steady breathing moving my head up and down with his chest.

"Will you be my girlfriend Kailey?" Ashton asks out of the blue. Most of the time, I'd be upset with how little effort he put into this, but coming from Ashton considering everything that just happened, it was perfect. I smile up at him, "yes."
