Lately, I've been missing Luke quite a bit. He's never home, always away on tour and when he is home all we do is watch tv or he rehearses. I kind of wish that we could just get out and do something.

Luke shows up shortly after and to no surprise, we're watching the television again. Sighing, I express my annoyance in the most kind way I could muster.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to make a call," he says immediately after my rant. I don't think that I've ever been more angry. Is he serious right now? Is he ditching the little time we have together to make a phone call after I practically yelled at him for this kind of stupid shit? This is ridiculous.

"Hope," Luke says entering the room again. Wow. Short call. I just mumble in response, not paying attention to anything in particular. He makes his way over to me, pressing his hands into my shoulders, rubbing them. It feels so damn nice. He leans down and presses his lips to my ear whispering, "go pack your bags. The lads and I are taking you camping."

My eyes widen in surprise at this information. He then tells me that Calum is grocery shopping for us as Ashton provides tents and things. In a burst of excitement, I kiss him hard before bolting up the stairs. I grab a suitcase and throw a couple items of clothing in to it, plus a few necessities. I'm done in a flash and head down to where Luke is, a bag in his hand also. The lads are here too and so is his dog, Molly.

"Ready?" I'm asked by Michael and I nod, following them outside and in to Calum's mum's minivan. The drive to the site is short and spent laughing. Finally, we're doing something exciting. This couldn't be any better.

Once we arrive, we get out and begin the hike through the woods to find a camp site. We so many gorgeous things such as rivers, streams, lakes, trees, moss, wildlife and a bunch of other things. The clean air is making me a bit dizzy as I'm not used to it, but it's a good dizzy. It sure does help though that Luke keeps his arm around me the entire time, something I find comforting.

Once we find a site, we set up camp. I love our spot right by the lake. It's gorgeous and I wouldn't mind some night swimming. Instead though, the lads start a campfire and we roast marshmallows. We have a good time telling stories and laughing. I always have a good time with them though and I'm so thankful.

"I'm going to lay down. I'm quite tired," I tell them, heading to where we set up the tent. Luke follows me and lays down also, us cuddling with each other.

"Thank you so much Luke. I feel like we needed this," I tell him. "Anything for my girl," he responds.

"I love you," I blurt out before I can stop myself. This was in no way how I prepared to tell him I loved him for the first time. I can tell he's a bit surprised and amused at my panic, but calms me down by pressing his lips to mine. It's a soft and tender kiss, but it's one that I enjoy.

"I love you too Hope," he responds when he pulls away. I smile at this and go in for another kiss, but stop half way due to a warrior screech from Ashton saying, "dog pile!" Before I know it, we are covered by three overgrown boys, laughing. I could spend every night like this if I had the choice. I don't care as long as I'm with Luke.
