It had been several days now and you are beyond content with how things are going - happily and well.
"I see that those two have finally sorted things out." Harriet commented after eyeing the two males (Adam and Valentino) for several moments.
"So am I." Willow chirped in agreement, carrying a tray-ful of plates, utensils and mugs into the kitchen so that they could be washed. It was a task that the girls were supposed to be sharing between themselves but Willow had been hogging the job for obvious reasons - so that she could interact with her crush, Theo.
"Thank god! It's no wonder that the air around here is much less tense." Ava added in relief before nudging your hip with her own, "I'm sure you had something to do with it." she winked as you blushed, but eventually smiled when your gaze fell upon the two that worked harmoniously in the kitchen.
"Yeah, I hated seeing them fighting. I'm so glad that they're good friends again." your gaze was so attentive to the two (seen through the rectangular opening into the kitchen) that you didn't realise the girls beginning to surround you, until a coo from Eloise brought you back.
"Ooo~ Look who has a crush!" Eloise teased, elbowing your side, eliciting a high pitched sequel from you before you broke into stuttering denial. In spite of your attempt at defending yourself, the glow of your cheeks made things all too obvious.
"Don't even try-"
"To lie to us." the twins grinned when passing by so as to tend to their customers.
"Yeah! We know you're lying because your face resembles a tomato!" Willow giggled squeezing you in a hug before wiping down unoccupied surfaces. She had left the kitchen not too long ago after your prolonged stare at Adam and Valentino, call it perfect or horrible timing but she was there just in time to join the girls in teasing you.
"Don't be ashamed. We know that Adam and Valentino are the handsomest guys here so it's only natural that you feel attracted towards them!"
"But don't tell us you like both of them or else you'll be in big trouble!"
"Ya! You can't like two guys at once!"
"Naughty naughty!~"
"Guys, stop bullying her! She obviously likes Adam more! Remember how sad she was when he kept his distance?"
"No! She looks cuter with Valentino! See, I think that he just calls her a sister to cover up how he really feels! That he wants to be more than just friends."
"We think that having-"
"Two lovers is better than one."
"Yeah but that's because you're twins."
"Is-"
"Not!"
As they continued to bicker, your face slowly became more and more cherry red. It was a surprise that you could actually still be standing because you should've fainted due to all of the blood rushing to your head. Wanting nothing more than to get away from their embarrassing gossip, you ran off to the kitchen, where you released a hefty sigh of relief.
