i'd really like to say thank you to everyone for their kind, supportive words and for participating in the poll.

i would have liked to respond to everyone individually but i, unfortunately, don't know how to contact all of you that participated. there were some of you that did leave your account names but i feel as though i'd just be repeating myself to everyone that provided consolation and words of advice, and, i do not want to come across as ingenuine for that because i'm not.

so, in this post, i'd really like to summarise where i want to go from here with some influence from the poll results and really take the time to appreciate everyone that reached out to me in that form because they really didn't have to.

𝕡.𝕤... i'll be sectioning out this announcement to make sure that i mention everything i wanted to address and so that you yourself can digest everything in an organised and coherent way

⏤𝕡𝕠𝕝𝕝 𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕦𝕝𝕥𝕤...

it wasn't a landslide decision but it was enough for me to know that the majority of you want me to continue on and write another Osomatsu-san fanfic that doesn't have to be related to the rental girlfriend plot i've followed with 'pick me!'. however, i feel and think that i can work out somewhat of a compromise between the two decisions.

due to a very interesting suggestion, which I will put down below, i have been inspired greatly with a new plotline. i still have to work on it and think about character development and arcs in the storyline but it's getting there.

now, i can't promise that this will be out right away but i will be figuring and planning things out. i don't think that i would ever have been as motivated to start anew with any book had this not been suggested to me. it had such perfect timing as i am very intrigued by isekai plots myself from the several mangas i binge-read during this covid-19 pandemic. so, i can assure everyone that i will be very much motivated when writing this fanfic.

i'm just sorry to disappoint those that were hoping i'd continue with the 'Pick Me!' story. i can't promise that i'll ever return to it but at least you lovelies can have free reign on what you want to happen for MC's future in that story with your own imagination.

⏤𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕚𝕕𝕖𝕒...

'I always been fascinated by the isakai concept were reader dies and gets put in the show and feel pity for them/want to help them find someone. Reader could stage dates, have lessons and kinda be a rental girl for them even be a therapist in a way Reader makes them want to be better. Shoot i have another idea where osomatsu is a dating game and reader get put in the game but as a mob character but she accidentally meet them and gets dragged in to there everyday lives and replace the heroine, There can be a plot where the heroine wants whats her yeah so i hope this helps and hope you keep going- TheFox'

thank you so so much TheFox for your suggestion! i was hit with inspiration the instant i read your idea and am eager to plan and write a story based on it. i really can't thank you enough for your proposal, i can just assure you that i will do my best with what you suggested.

it's the perfect idea for a compromise as it'll have the same feel as a 'rental girlfriend' au as it'll be based on an otome game isekai.

⏤𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤...​​​​​​​

there have been many of you in the poll that told me some things you liked about this story and wanted me to continue on in the next story, if possible. Those things would be: some of my OCs (primarily Adam, Valentino, Hiroo and Kai) as well as F6.

concerning the plot of the new osomatsu-san story i'll be writing, i may be giving Adam and Valentino new names whilst also going along the looks of F6 for the matsuno sextuplets.

i still have to work out a few more things about how everything will play out and the effects of what i planned for characters and the general plot, so i can't confirm anything else beyond what i mentioned.

additionally, someone suggested doing a oneshot book that also includes my ocs and to that, i say, maybe. i don't want to make empty promises and i don't want to overwork myself with more than what i can handle seeing as i'll be starting university this year. i'll see how things go and then...maybe...

lastly, thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout the journey i had writing this book and to those that were nothing but understanding, kind, and supportive in the poll, comments and in the private messages. i really really am grateful to each and every one of you.

i read everyone's comments and nearly burst into tears at each one because you're all such angels. you pulled me out from a really toxic mindset and now i'm working on bettering myself so that my writing can prosper in a healthier way.

no words can describe how crazy blessed i feel knowing that you don't just see the book and author but that you see an actual person with struggles and their own life outside of writing. know that this big world is made better bit by bit because of thoughtful individuals such as yourself, and i'm so so so thankful to every deity out there for having blessed me with so many of you angels as my readers.
