Fables, the myths and legends with story your gauridans tend to tell you in order to begin creating the fruit of imaginations in children's minds. They are meant to be fun, creative, inspiration, and give lessons that will stick with you for life. Fables are suppose to be the things that children would wish to exist and have them a part of their world.
Not to be truly a piece of reality.
I stood there looking at a being that I truly thought stemmed from a fairy tale but looking at the angered expression the once black wolf named Richard and the once blond wold, who name I still did not know, I believed it was time to question my reality.
The midnight air was not a cool, crisp breeze and the tension throughout us was thick.
The alpha, Richard, stood proudly looking towards the injured man with a look of anger. The tinier of the two men stared right back with his own look of rage, challenging the mighty alpha with his stare alone.
Finally the silence was broken, and with dread Rion spoke.
"Sorry to intrude, I was kinda in the middle of a well needed beauty sleep. but if you would be so kind as to tell me what the hell is going on, that would be great."
As if snapping out of some sort of silent standoff, all heads turned towards Rion, including my own.
Rion stood beside Tarrah, displaying both their opened swords in hand, ready to challenge the now group of nine men. Although his playful charm was still there, it was something more deadly in Rion's eyes. He had the look of the same fighter I encountered when he had first awakened.
Richard turned and faced our small group as if remembering we were still here. He weakly folded his arms, making the muscles become more defined and pronounce as if to intimidate us without trying.
He sighed into the cold air then spoke,
"My name is Richard, Alpha of the Beta Moon pack. My men and I have came to retrieve a run away apologizes for the misunderstanding and attacking you. We were under the impression you were helping him."
At this he pointed to the smaller male scowled at him in reply.
"But unfortunately, for harboring a refugee and seeing our true nature, we ask you come with us without hesitations, refusal will lead to force."
"Wait a damn minute, they did nothing wrong!"
This came from the smaller man who now was radiating with anger. His sharp scowl glared up towards the mighty Alpha and he did not let his injury stop him for taking a threatening step towards him.
I heard the other men behind me begin to shuffle to prepare to defend their alpha however Richard rose his had and stopped them in their tracks.
Richard turned his cold blue eyes towards him and spoke,
"Rules are rules, you endangered these people the minute you set foot in their camp. Outsiders are not allowed to know about us. All who do without the needed preparations or special circumstances are seen as dangerous and threatens the pack. "
"Then make this a special circumstance! It is weren't for them I would be at a bottom of a hill bleeding out or at the mercy off rogues. Whatever it is you are planning cut it or I swear you'd wish you had."
Is he trying to kill us?
The Alpha stare remained hard as the sorter man spoke,
"And besides they wouldn't had known about anything if you would had just left me alone. For all they knew I was just some stray animal in the woods so don't blame me for your slip up."
