The night had left and the morning light replaced the darkness. I was up and about before the first light of dawn shown itself from the horizon through my window.
My travel bag was packed and everything was nearly inside from clothing to fingerless gloves and any other necessities need for this trip, I even packed one of the glowing lanterns for future use.
Placing all of my items on the bed I used the method Aerolena used last night for the chest to stored them all within my book.
Once complete, I turned for my cloak hanging beside the door and place it on. Aerolena was right, the twmpertur changing material was wonders as if felt like I didn't even out it on.
I took the handle of the teleportation door and took in a deep breath.
The energy I had lost had returned to me after I left for my room and Raiu had promptly returned. I doubt I'll hear anything from him through the morning and maybe even a small portion in the afternoon as he was sleeping soundlessly in that dark void.
I always wondered if it was lonely being in that floating space and on several occasions asked if he wanted to come out a stretch a bit. But deny it ever being lonely saying he could see and hear everything I experience and he reassured me his little space was much more peaceful than the outside world.
I was hesitating and I knew it.
I shook my head and focused back to my surroundings. My clean room gave me a smile as I aced my hand on the door. This will probably be the last time I see this place and the last time I can call this little jail cell my own.
I laughed as I open the door and turned away from the little price of space before walking within the tavern.
The morning sun had pierced the windows of the tavern, illuminating the room. Aerolena was already at the bar flipping through he thick leather book.
With a wide smile I walked towards her.
"What, no streamers or a big sign saying 'you'll be missed'."
Aerolena waved her hand at me as if dismissing the idea while still flipping through her book.
"You're not that important."
Sitting besides her I laughed at her.
"I beg to differ."
With small smile she looked to me and shook her head.
"I swear boy, you are beginning to sound more like Raiu everyday." And with a mocking tone she added. "Are we certain he isn't an evil spirit slowly taking control of you day by day."
I smiled a shook my head.
"I am certain hes too lazy to besides he hates having to be out of his little space. If he were awake now I bet he would say something along the lines of, 'Dear maiden, how you tarnish my name' and then go on insulting my body of how it's not even worthy of possessing."
She nodded, than folded her arms and tilted her head arrogantly towards the ceiling.
"I wouldn't be caught dead possessing Ame. He's too flabby and can barely hold his own."
I nodded my head, "Yeah, something like that."
Just as Aerolean I were laughing and mocking Raiu, the basement door opened revealing Aerolena Yang with a large tray of breakfast in her hand.
At the sight and smell of it, my mouth began to water.
"Good morning Ame."
"Good morning."
