Rion and I continued walking the snow cover path as aimless chatter was exchanged between the two of us. Ottus was content in just walking in our company and giving comments once in a while from various topics. It was amusing, to watch Rion at times, look to the massive wolf and translate what he was saying.
It was quiet humorous, I remember when I found Jason and how Rion was skepical as I spoke to him. Now it is his turn to understand my delemas.
But you talk to animals all the time.
Nishi and Kigoi does not count they are spirits not animals.
I was talking about Aerolena but I guess that works too.
I laughed under my breath as Rion continued talking to Ottus.
If Aerolena ever knew what you thought of her there would be some words.
Nope, just an ass whippin from here to Kingdom Come.
Rion did a little jump to readjust the deer that was beginning to fall on his shoulder as he began laughing at what ever Ottus had said. He than turned his dark brown eyes towards me.
"So Ame, what was it like staying in Aerolena's place."
I smiled,
"It was hard, even difficult at times with running a tavern throughout the night and learning new spells in the day. But she was a great teacher and helped me when ever was possible."
Rion, eyes widen.
"You worked at a tavern."
I nodded my head, entertained at my friend's amazement.
Rion gave me a devious smirk,
"Did you get drunk or get laid?"
I nearly tripped over my own two feet.
"What?"
Rion smile grew wider.
"I said-"
Before another world could leave his mouth, Ottus whipped around and bit Rion on the leg stopping him in mid sentence.
"Ouch, that hurts!"
Ottus let go and huffed at Rion before looking ahead once more.
"What I was curious, Kain said that by him working at Aerolena's tavern it would be more than the,"
Rion head two figures up as if quoting,
"'Big Dee,' he had to deal with."
Rion placed his figures down and my eyes grew wide as I gave up on thinking Kain had any remaining shred of dignity.
Pfffff, this is too good.
Slowly, I explained myself to Rion in hopes of maybe this idiot in my life could understand me.
"No Rion, I did not have any intercourse with anyone within the tavern nor have I ever though of doing so."
Rion looked thoughtful at me. I knew I could save Rion intelligence if I just put the effort to do so.
Rion gave me a big grin,
"Oooh, so you did get drunk."
I lost all remaining hope to regain any amount of intelligence Rion had.
I don't know what you're talking about. I see a bright future in Rion and I's friendship.
Before another round of meaningless chatter could be made Ottus gave a great bark, bringing our attention to the approaching training ground gate. there were a horde of naked men standing at the gate, some with various dead animals while others held nothing.
