I took the spare keys Aerolena had given me out of my satchel on my waist and locked the tavern door after the last customer had left for the nigh. I proceeded to walk towards the bar and inspected the drinking mugs scattered about on the counter. Picking each one up I carefully place them within the sink.I took the towel hanging above the sink and turned the faucet on, than, allowing my magick to flare, I took another rag and began to wipe the counter while finishing the cups. Using a little more magick I began to place each individual cup in its proper placing to make my job even quicker.
Two months has passed, but it feels like a lifetime with how much I have learned thus far. I have mastered the arts of telekinesis, illusion, perfected my energy magick and much more with the help of both Aerolena, Nishi and Kigoi.
As for Raiu, we have learned to coexist without arguing over every little thing, but still find the need to from time to time. He has also mastered much with our teachers, even though he refuse to admit to it.
I placed the last cup in its proper spot and placed both the rags away within the sink.
I have not felt the major need to consume energy after learning how to take energy of another means. However, if it comes a time for where I need to use that ability again it would be my last resort.
Turning around to inspect the mess, I sighed at the realization my magick alone would not be able to clean it.
A fight broke out between the, elves and a trolls again tonight, making it the third one this week, however none where on a scale of being this bad. A broken table, glass shards, and a few other scattered glasses on the floor was awaiting me to clean. They were luck I was here to break it up and not Aerolena, due to me wrath driven teacher not afraid to use violence with violence.
Unfortunately, Raiu was better at fixing objects with his magick than I was. It would take me forever to do so and even than I may accidentally teleport it in some region of the world.
Drawing out the connection I knocked on the invisible door in my mind to summon the only person I could think to help me.
"I need you to come out here and help me clean this mess, another fight broke out between the Trolls, and Elves."
I heard a distant yawn.
Again...
I sighed,"Again"
I felt a tingling sensation travel through my body as Riau began to wake up.
Thick animosity between the two races as of late. Do you think Aerolena would have us to interfere with their political feud?
Like a ghost Raiu walked out of my body and turned towards me.
I felt the effects of the spell hit me like a typhoon, dizziness overtook my senses as I quickly took a hold of the counter. I have not quiet yet been able to perfect the Separation spell but as Aerolena said, the only way to do so is to keep practicing it.
This is the latest technique Aerolena had us learn, however it still needs work due to its affects afterwards. For me it is dizziness and the inability to use my magick for a short amount of time, depending on how much I use before I cast the spell. For Raiu, he has to sleep a little longer after he returns.
Ever magick used comes with a price, from the most simplest tricks to the major ones. Sometimes the price is so insignificant it is not even noticed and other times you are just not that lucky.
Still gripping the counter, I straighten my body and opened my eyes only to be met with slightly lighter ones on a face identical to mines.
"Are you alright?"
