Bad Chapter 24: Trying

••• Jax's point of View •••

"Are you just going to sit there or what? Mag tatatlong oras ka nang nakatunganga jan Jax! Kami nakapatapos na kami ng ilang episode sa pinapanood namin tas ikaw ni hindi ka man lang gumagalaw jan!"

"Shhh!! Im thinking!-

"Huh? Thinking of what?"

"Thinking of how will Im gonna chase Elaine." and the funny fact is, i dont know how to chase girls because I had never been into girls ever since. I never know what they want or what they need, or what mood they are on. It's so fucking hard to know what's on their mind. Just like these two girls right inside my room.

They both looked into each other's eye and just a second they bursted out in laughing. "What's funny? Are you guys making fun of me?" Agh, my nerves are starting to run.....Girls are confusing.

"Hahaha, okay okay. We're done. Hays,, we're not totally making fun of you just because you don't know 'bout girls situations. We're just laughing because we....didn't expect the word chase from you. Like what the hell is going on? Jax is totally inlove." lisa explained it very well.

"So...instead of laughing, why don't you guys tell me how to chase a girl?" I suggested, even it's kinda awkward to say but they've know me so well and I've known them so much. "Nice Idea!" the pregnant says.

"Okay, kasi ganito yan Jax...First you have to listen to us. Wala kang ibang papakinggan even your mind! Wag na wag mong papakinggan! Una, kailangan mong mag da-moves." lisa raised her both brows.

"Da-moves? What is that?" I asked.

"Da-moves, yung parang magpapapansin ka sa kanya, hayaan mong sya ang makahalata..." pregnant says. I gave them a nod to continue.

"Listen, you have to keep on chasing her if you want to get her back. Do everything that is necessarry to do. Apologize if that's the right thing."

"What? No! I didn't even do anything to her!" I hesitated. That's getting out of hand dude. "Come on Jax! You have to! Besides its your fault."

"Oh yeah, its my fault but I don't feel like apologizing."

"Lower your pride! For freakin' sake! If you follow what you want then I guess Elaine would never be yours." And those words got stuck in my head.

••• Elaine's Point of View •••

Getting ready for school, Hays, I feel like everything gets back to normal since the day Jax started to ignore me and im slowly feeling very well. But still missing something. "Miss Elaineeee! Time to go!" Shane sneaked on the door, trying to check me.

"Shane okay lang ako. Pumasok ka na dito!" I shouted. "Sigurado ka Miss El? Baka mamaya kainin mo ako eh. Bumaba ka na lang kasi inaantay na tayo ni Butler Jhan." Wala akong nagawa kundi bumaba na lamang, daldala ang bag ko. Mom and Dad went out of the town so it's only me and Shane and the maids also are the people in the house. Good for me.

We were heading to school and no one dares to speak or dares to make a noise. We were very very quiet, daig pa namin yung library. Ewan ko ba, kung bakit ganito yung mga kasama ko. Pagka park na pagkapark ni Butler Jhan, bumaba agad ako. Nasuffocate ako sa katahimikan.

Okay, sa first subject agad ako dumeretso-- History, Mr. Gabriel. At ngayon, kaklase ko si Jax, I dunno if he's here but hoping he's absent. Because I cant look at him or even feel his presence at this time. And I don't want to be distracted by Him but we heard a sudden shut of a door which made my classmates up-rawr. I was just talking about him being absent, and now he's here. Yeah right, He's here and he's intensely looking at me.

I don"t like what im feeling right now. I feel awful--I mean im feeling well and bad. How could even two opposites be equal? Duh. "Oh! Mr. Williams, what a great enter of yours. Would you please grab a seat so we can start right away." teacher asked. Nakatingin lang ako sa harapan habang sya nakatingin pa rin sa akin, kitang kita sa peripheral vision ko.

Nakita ko rin syang umupo sa gilid nang nasa likod ko. Hindi tuloy ako makagalaw ng maayos. Tinry ko syang hindi pansinin hanggang sa matapos magdiscuss si Sir nang makapunta na ako sa 2nd subject ko.

Don't get fooled by those eyes Elaine. Don't you ever look at him. The bell rangs, means 2nd subject na. Kaya nagmadali akong naglakad palabas ng room.

Habang naglalakad ako ng mabilis, panay ako tingin sa likod dahil baka sundan nya ako. Pagkalingon ko sa harap may kamay na humawak sa wrist ko pero ramdam kong hindi mahigpit. "Are you avoiding me?" Ugh! Whyyy? I said don't look at his eyes, elaine! So stupid! "Im asking you, elaine. Talk." Umiling lang ako at tinry na tanggalin ang pagkakahawak nya sa akin.

"I won't let go of you until you talk to me. Clearly and Seriously." He said, deeply.

"I have a lot of things to do than to talk to you. So let me go!" I vent in anger. So by that, he did let me go. I can't talk to him, right now. Things are so complicated.

••• Jax's Point of View •••

I was careless. What the hell did I do? Did I scared her? Oh stupid move Jax! Stupid move! I could've stayed calm at first and didn't let my eyes to stare at her. So damn stupid! Maybe I should try later. "Hey dude! Supp?" Dean, patted my shoulder.

"Fine, just making things well." I said.

"Whoah? Change is coming na ba? Jax?" He teased and laugh. "Joke lang yun ah. Ang seryoso mo kasi eh." He added. "Teka- how about, drink later? Are you in?" he asked.

"Sounds damn cool, dean. See ya later." I left him and went to my 3rd subject. I better chase Elaine after this whole damn class. Tsk.

After so many hours, im still trying to chase Elaine, wouldn't mind if its hard, just all matters is how am I supposed to get her back without even using connections? Oh god! Why it has to be so hard?!
