Ashton's P.O.V:

I am really nervous. Darcy is well out of my league and i am fully aware of that. Its 7pm at the moment and I'm waiting at reception for her. I should have brought her chocolates, shes going to think that I've put no effort into this date. I'm totally over thinking things. Maybe i should just play it cool and act like its no big deal. But the thing is, this is a big deal, this girl is gorgeous and i have actually convinced her to go on a date with me. The elevator door dinged and my head snapped to the sound to see Darcy looking absolutely stunning. We were both wearing band shirts, hers was Nirvana and mine was ACDC.

"You look amazing." She just laughed at my comment. This girl is amazingly beautiful and she doesn't even have a clue.

"You don't look too made yourself Ashy." I liked the way she kept on giving me nicknames.

"Well, our date is this way Darce." I took her hand and held it in mine but she didn't seem to mind.

Darcy's P.O.V:

I had absolutely no clue where Ashton was taking me. We had been walking through the town for about 10 minutes.

"Ash, where are we going?"

"It's a surprise, you'll just have to wait and see."

I quite liked surprises. If you know where you're going then it kind of ruins a bit of the date. But then again i wouldn't really know because this is my first proper date, but i have always thought about the perfect date and Ashton is doing well so far. I have a slight suspicion that we might be going for a picnic though, the wicker basket in his hand was a bit of a give a way. I like the way that we didn't have to dress up and how we are both wearing band shirts. I'm not an extremely girly girl, i don't like wearing dresses that much. Of course i do wear dresses, but only for formal occasions. Cal and I both had to dress up really formally once at the orphanage because we went to this charity event and Sally told us that we had to make a good impression. That dress was the most uncomfortable thing ever.

"We're here." I looked up and my surroundings and it was beautiful. We were out of the town and in a clearing in the middle of a forest. Ashton laid the small blanket on the grass and sat down on it. He patted the space next to him and i sat down.

"This is really nice Ash, thank you."

"No problem, glad you like it."

Ashton was lovely the whole night and it made me like him more and more. He told me about how he aspires to be a musician and how he wishes he had the opportunity that Calum had. I think every musician wishes they had Calums luck. It still seems so surreal that Calum has actually got this opportunity, it seems to all be working out for him. Ashton told me a bit about how he plays the drums and has done pretty much all of his life. I did feel like i didn't have much to tell him though. I don't have any hidden talents and i haven't had much of an interesting life.

"Well, i best be heading home. Its been a lovely date Ash!" I really didnt want to leave the date but it was already 9.30 at night and it was getting very cold.

"Okay, thanks for coming. Maybe we could do it again sometime?"

"I'm sure i can fit you into my very busy schedule." I said laughing. I had told Ashton about my non hectic lifestyle.

Ashton walked me back to the hotel as he insisted on 'being the gentleman'. There wasn't much conversation on the way back but we did talk about odd things that weren't really interesting now but were at the time. When we reached The Thistle Ashton gave me another kiss on the cheek and left me. I felt a general sense of peace with Ashton. I don't know whether its his care free attitude or the fact that i had this small crush on him. I love his care free attitude, it makes you forget of everything that is stressful in your life and just focus on what hes saying.
