Ashton's POV:

Today is the day that they move to London, i know that. I've seen them all arriving at that stupid pub with there suitcases looking happy as fuck. I saw Darcy with her small bag, i saw Calum with his bag and i saw Michael with his multiple bags no doubt filled with his games. Then i saw them leave. I watched it all and i don't know why. It was as if it was some film that i was watching that i also had to star in. I happened to be the character that got killed off early because no one gave a damn about him.

Unlike other days i actually had to do something today. I have to go to my shitty job and serve coffee to obnoxious people that don't even acknowledge me. My shift starts at 10 and its 9 now. I tried to get another day off of work but my stupid condescending boss said i'll get sacked if i don't show up. To be honest at the moment i couldn't give a shit if i get fired but i know that i need the money.

I turned on the shower and waited for the water to heat up. This apartment is terrible and always dispenses freezing cold water. Its heaven after I've been for a jog but a curse when i get up late and have to get ready in an hour. If i hadn't been watching my friends get ready to leave me for good then i wouldn't be in this much of a rush to get to my crappy job. I also wouldn't be stepping into a shower that it still freezing cold because i cant be bothered to wait for it to warm up. At least its going to wake me up. I washed my hair and body in record time and got out of the shower. I picked up some clothes that i had laying on the floor and put them on once i had dried myself off.

------

"Ashton, you're late." My boss said as he faced the complete opposite direction.

"It's only 5 minutes, i'll stay later and make it up." I hate this mans guts.

"It's only 5 minutes? We could have had queues out of the streets in them 5 minutes. You can stay an extra 30 minutes later and if this happens again then i will have no choice but to find someone better suited."

Without even responding to the bastard i went to the back of the shop and put on my orange apron. By the time i was behind the counter he had left. Thank God. I seriously do not see what that mans problem is, every time someone is late he always brings up that the shop could be packed full of people. This shop is never packed. In fact i think the most people i've seen in this coffee shop is 10. 10. I'm surprised it isn't bankrupt yet.

"Aight mate, i'll have a tea and she'll have a latte." This dude does my absolute head in. He is the typical teenage thug and always causes trouble around the place. He was with a girl of similar age though who i hadn't seen with him before. To be saying she looked exactly like Darcy would be an understatement.

Instead of answering the douche i began making his tea and coffee. He has actually told me to be part of his 'gang' once which i kindly refused. Since then he is adamant on calling me his 'mate' which i hate but boss man says we're not allowed to call the customers out on anything. I finished off making his order and then handed them to him. This girl clearly did not want to be anywhere near him and that was plain to see. The fact that she looked like Darcy made the situation worse.

"Excuse me whats your name?" I said directly to the girl. She looked over to Jordan as if permission to answer me.

"Her names Sarah, whats it to you? Shes my girl."

"Chill the fuck out, she just looks like someone i know. If shes 'your girl' then try not to make her so petrified every time someone fucking looks at her. She doesn't belong to you mate." I said mocking him. I know my boss is going to be pissed but someone needs to teach this kid a lesson.

"Ashton, can i have a word?" I thought this twat had left. None the less i turned round and followed him out back.

"Do you know what, you can fire me because i couldn't care less. Actually, i quit. You're a shit boss and your precious coffee shop is going to be bankrupt soon anyway. Good day."
