Ashton's POV:
Harry and Darcy. Darcy and Harry. It just doesn't sit right. She doesn't seem like the girl that would go out drinking one night and then bring home an international pop star to spend the night. It just shows me that I don't actually know the girl that I seem so infatuated by. Of course she told me that it wasn't what it seemed but it's not like she's going to tell me even if I did happen. I wonder what they were doing after I left the club, they looked pretty comfortable whilst I was there. Harry didn't even notice my existence, he greeted all of the other boys and then introduced himself to Darcy. They were flirting continuously and it was driving me insane, so much so that I had to just get out and leave. Leave her to flirt more with Harry. Leave them to not even notice me going.
"So, Darcy just left?" Luke questioned. "She didn't even tell you where she was going, she just left?"
"I came downstairs and Harry was here with her. He left and then she left. She's 18 not 8 Luke, she can take care of herself." It wasn't a complete lie. What if she left to go and be with Harry again? I mean, she did pretty much leave straight after him. She wouldn't. Would she? I don't even know anymore.
"Harry?" Luke asked. "Did he stay the night? Was he in Darcy's room?"
"Slow down. Apparently he slept on the sofa but I wouldn't put anything past Darcy." It did look pretty dodgy. She was wearing next to nothing and he was shirtless, and they drank way too much last night that I wouldn't put it past them.
"Well if she said that he slept on the sofa then I believe her. She isn't like that Ashton." Luke defended her as if he had some stupid crush on her.
There was a knock on the door which Luke bolted up to get. I don't get why Luke is being so defensive over Darcy, he's only known her a week. He keeps on looking over at her and smiling like a silly schoolboy who has some pathetic crush on the lead cheerleader. It's disgusting. When I met her I was like that too. Looking back at it now I realize how naive i was. She was pretty and I hadn't spoken to an attractive girl in a long time, I wasn't thinking at all, I just kind of went for it. Things between us seemed so easy back then, we had a date and I would be lying if I said that I didn't like it but she left. Everyone just seemed to be leaving.
Darcy's POV:
"Darcy, you're back! Where have you been, Ashton said that you just 'left'." Luke said quoting what Ashton had obviously said to him. I wouldn't expect him to actually tell Luke that he had basically called me a slut.
"Well," I began, not knowing whether i should go along with Ashton's lie or call him out. "I had to get some air. I guess the alcohol went to my head." I don't class it as sticking up for Ashton, i just don't want Luke to change his opinion on him due to the shitty things he has said to me.
"Come in then, I'm making some tea, do you want some?" I told him that i would and then followed him in to the kitchen. England in February is freezing cold and i didn't exactly wrap up before i left. Ashton didn't even look up from his spot on the sofa once.
I don't even know why i liked the kid at the start anyway. He was nice looking and i had just got out of a prison and it seemed like a good idea at the time. He seemed nice on our 'date' but he has changed so much and i dont know whether this Ashton is acceptable any more. The Ashton that called me beautiful had turned into the Ashton that accused me of sleeping around only hours ago.
Luke handed me my tea and then faintly smiled in my direction. All boys should be a bit more like Luke, he's good looking and he knows how to treat a girl right. Michael is a little sweetie as well. He would defiantly be the kind of boyfriend who you could stay up all night to talk to and not get bored once. When Calum finally has a girlfriend, she is going to be the center of his whole entire world. He knows how to take care of a girl properly and i couldn't be more proud of him. Any girl would be lucky to have him.
