Darcy's POV:
"You're all packed right? You haven't left anything in the bathroom or under the bed?" I was checking every corner of our small room to make sure that we had packed everything. We had to meet Luke and Michael in half an hour, so if we forgot anything then we couldn't come back for it.
"Darcy, we clearly have everything. You've been looking around the room for ages, we aren't going to forget anything. If we do then we can just buy it when we get to London." I checked the bathroom over once again and the sat with Cal on the bed.
"Do you think we should go and pay up? Have you got the money? We payed for the first night, so we need £360." Steve had paid Calum yesterday, so i think that we had just enough to pay for the room.
"You really need to calm down a little, i have the money and you have already told me to count it multiple times. We should go and pay though then we'll be at Luke's early."
We both got up and grabbed our bags from the corner of the room, and with one last quick look around the room we headed off. Calum paid Alan at reception, who still continued to use his overly snooty accent and then we lugged our suitcases all the way to The Swan where we were meeting Michael and Luke. I was looking forward to seeing them because i didn't go to their final performance so i haven't seen them in a couple of days. Ashton hasn't made any contact with any of us since i last spoke to him on the phone, which is good because i really don't want to speak to him after his outburst.
"Calum, Darcy, you're early!" Luke greeted as he opened up the pub for us. "Michael isn't here yet."
"Darcy was determined to make sure that we were ready, that's why we're so early." Cal laughed as he nudged me in the side.
"Better to be early than late. Michael is going to be late anyway, he's probably not out of bed yet." He said as he opened the door wider for us to get through with our bags.
It was funny to see Calum and Luke so hyper about our move to London. They were acting as if they had just performed and they were all high off of the adrenalin. London didn't seem as much of a big deal to me after my conversation with Ashton. I cant shake the feeling that i am only an inconvenience to the people at Syco. They didn't want me to come along and they probably still don't. When i get to London I'm going to have to apply to University and i think it would be best if i got a student room around campus. That way it doesn't look as if I'm using the boys and then i get to be nearer to campus which would be better in turn for me as well. If i manage to get in to University and i get a room then it is going to be the first time that I'm not going to be with Calum. I've always thought that being away from Cal would be a bad thing but now i see it as having some Independence that i haven't had before.
The door opened abruptly and in walked Michael pulling in more luggage than i had brought.
"Mikey, why have you got so many bags?"
"I like gaming a lot and i refuse to leave any of them behind. Leaving behind my games would be like having a lung cut from my body and fed to dogs infront of me and that sounds pretty fatal" He explained as he carefully set his bags down next to ours.
"Well that's graphic and mentally scarring, thanks Michael." Luke said as he walked over to the stairs and called his father down.
"Shut up Luke." Michael and Lukes had such a love/hate relationship that i found hilarious. One minute you would find them laughing away with each other after band practice and then other times Michael would be winding Luke up. It was all in a friendly manner and i couldn't help but laugh along with them, they were an odd pair.
"You boys ready to go then? Oh and girl, sorry Darcy." Steve picked up some keys that were located on a hook and went to halp Luke pick up his bags. Luke swatted his hands off of his bags and then picked them up effortlessly.
