Darcy's POV:

"Down the hall." I replied skeptically. Evie took off in the direction in which I had just pointed. I took a look back at Calum who was too ill to even take note of what had just happened a couple of meters away from him. After flicking off the light switch, I shut the door and sat at the top of the stairs.

Evie emerged from the bathroom only seconds later with her head looking at the ground. "It wasn't what it looked like." She said without making eye contact. Her blonde hair fell out from behind her ears and she immediately tucked it back into place. "Well it was but just not how you think." She continued when I didn't say anything. I felt almost stupid for thinking that someone actually wanted to be my friend. That I had even considered that someone wanted to know me for me.

I stood from my position on the stairs and Evie was quick to move from the small space that we were both orginally in. "Where are you going?" I questioned her. Despite the serious situation I couldn't help but laugh when she stumbled on the stair that the boys and I had become accustomed to. When she got to the bottom she sat back down on the sofa. "If you're not going to leave then I want you to explain who you are, what you are doing here and what you were doing eavesdropping." I said sternly.

She sighed as if my request were ridiculous. "I didn't lie about my name if that's what you're trying to imply. I saw your brother and his band in the back of that photo but I had no clue that you were related." She talks as if the picture is a part of her. Something that's attached to her similar to like a limb. It's almost as if she has studied this picture and everyone in it. Calum told me earlier that she was 'weird' and I'm starting to see his point. "I've seen Luke on YouTube and I really wanted to meet him. He was with you guys.."

"So what you're trying to say is that you used me to try and get to Luke? Love, I'd hate to ruin everything for you but they're going away in under 2 months and Luke isn't interested." I hated sounding mean but it was needed. I don't understand how she thought that manipulating people around her would get her noticed by the person that she likes.

There was a knock on the door which Evie took as an invitation to stand up. She brushed down her clothing and watched me intently as I went to open the door, probably hoping that Luke would walk straight on through. I knew already that it couldn't be Luke as he, Michael and Ashton had a key. I opened the door and a messy haired Ashton clutching a notepad stood on the doorstep. He flashed me a toothy grin as he walked past me. "Who's this?" He added once he noticed the girl stood only a short distance behind me. Instead of answering him, she darted out of the door and out onto the streets of London. Ashton closed the door behind her with confusion covering his face.

He looked over at me to get the answer. "Looks like you've got a little fan of your band. Luke inperticular." I summed up. Looking back on the couple of weeks that I've known her it almost seemed stupid that I didn't understand that she was only using me. Calum told me that she wanted to get to Harry but in fact it was actually him. Well, him and his band, mainly Luke.

"Why would anyone like Luke." Ashton joked. "He's got funny legs. Did you tell her that? And he takes too long in the shower." Ash seemed really hyper and energetic. "And he does this thing where he just stands in the kitchen and does absolutely nothing." He continued.

I lightly punched him on the arm. "Hey don't be mean to Lucas, he just forgets what he's doing really quickly." I laughed. Ashton and I have noticed that Luke does this thing where he will have a task to do but will completely forget only seconds later. It usually happens in the kitchen and he'll scrunch his face up and lean against the countertop until he remembers. He always looks so proud of himself when he does though.

Ash and I took a seat on the sofa with my legs draped over him as I laid back. "If people like that start happening then I'm going to go insane." To be honest, Evie wasn't that bad of a fan girl. She didn't hold me hostage until she met the boys. She was only manipulative and creepy. A weirdo but she could have been so much worse.
