Friends Or Enemies?

Chapter 8

     I don't know why Sam and Tucker are so mad at me. I told them I've been busy! I was throwing a ball in my room. I was going to hang out with them but they were all of a sudden busy. I sighed out of boredom. A knock on my window startled me. At first I saw no one then I saw Love appear.
"Wanna hang Phantom?" she asked glumly.
"Sure, anything you wanna do specifically?"
"Just follow me." I changed to my ghost form and followed Love. We went to the beach and laid on the sand. I feel like Love wanted to tell me something. Would she finally tell me who she is? What happened next, I would never figure out. It happened so fast my brain couldn't process it. Love kissed me!
"That was not from me. It was from the other me. I'll show you who I really am if you promise two things."
"Sure, anything."
"One: leave (y/n) alone and hang with your friends. They need you more than her. And two: don't tell ANYONE about that kiss, or I will throw you in the ghost zone and lock you in there for all your "friends" to "play" with you!" I took a step back and returned to my normal human self.
"Deal. Now, how about actually having fun?" I asked pointing to the ocean. Love smiled.
"Sure." I finally saw who she really was. Love is..... (y/n)!? She wore a regular t-shirt and shorts. She took off her top right away. I looked away and blushed with embarrassment. She nudged my in the chest. Now all she wore was a white tank top and shorts. (y/n) waved at me to come in the water with her. I smiled and took of my shirt as I ran into the water after her. We splashed at each other and had great laughs. After the sun went down, we got out the water and grabbed our shirts we left behind. I may have stared at her as she pulled her shirt on. She glanced at me and I quickly looked away. She hugged me from behind and didn't let go as she dragged me down with her on the sandy beach.
"Ow!" I said rubbing my head. (y/n) had fallen asleep. It didn't seem like she wanted to go home so I stayed with her. I fixed her head so it laid on my arm and moved her wet hair from her sleeping face. I smiled looking at her.
"I love you, so I cannot leave you alone. I know I made a promise but I just can't keep it. I'm sorry." I lightly kissed her forehead.


     I woke up and noticed I was still at the beach. (y/n) was so close to me that our noses touched ever so lightly. I suddenly realized that it was Tuesday! I jerk up causing (y/n) to wake up suddenly.
"What the-- Danny!?"
"Sorry, it's just that, we're pretty much are late for school."
"We should get going and remember what you promised."
"Yeah, of course." I knew I couldn't keep the promise but I had to try. We changed to our ghostly forms and left for school. We hid behind a tree and changed back to our normal form. I met up with Sam and Tucker and told them almost all about what happened yesterday, leaving out the parts about (y/n) being part ghost.
"Don't worry, I'll spend more time with you guys, I promise." I said placing my right hand over my heart. They forgave me and we went to class. As soon as we stepped in the school, I could see Paulina making fun of (y/n) as she picked up her books. I clenched my fists and was going to help her, but I had to remember to try to keep my promise. This was going to be harder than I thought...
