Jillienne's POV

I work at a café with Aika just to earn extra cash even though my Dad sends me money and pays for my monthly rent. I do not spend the money my Dad sends every month as food allowance or whatever, unless I really have to spend it on something otherwise I just keep it in my bank account. I had told him that I can manage on my own but he insisted that I accept it since just like how he say it every time, I am still his responsibility. I just let him do what he wants, it's not like it's a big deal since he's well off.

"Hey Jill, can you please serve this to that table." Aika said pointing to the table where a two girls were sat.

"Yes, ma'am." I saluted and she playfully rolled her eyes.

After this my shift's over.

I've been feeling like shit for the past few days and I couldn't wait to go home.

I walked to the table and placed the food they ordered from the tray to the table and they stopped talking to pay attention to the food being served.

"Enjoy!" I smiled at them and the blonde girl gave me a judging look.

"We know you." She said reading my nametag, trying to remember me. "Jill..."

"OMG of course! She's Jillienne!" The brown haired girl pointed at me excitedly, she seemed nice so I didn't mind her pointing a finger at me.

Great, fans.

"Oh." The blonde rolled her eyes.

I bit the insides of my cheeks.
I wasn't really in the mood to have someone hate on me today for being friends with the boys, especially Luke, whom I've been avoiding for weeks.

"You're so pretty." She squealed and I mumbled a thank you.

"Average. " the blonde whispered loud enough for us around the table to hear. "I don't see anything special about her."

This isn't new to me. Ever since the boys released their first music video their popularity skyrocketed and some of their new fans haven't been really friendly with me.

I just stayed quiet since I was never the type to get into fights with those who hates me, what can an anti social like me do anyway?

Her friend had told her to shut up and not be rude but she just rolled her eyes. I excused myself and started walking back to the counter but I was stopped in my steps when I heard her speak again.

"What?! She's so far up Luke's ass. He said they aren't even dating but she sure doesn't act like it. Why is he even friends with her?"

I felt a tear roll down my cheek and I immediately wiped it with the back of my hand, almost running back to the staff room.

She wasn't wrong though, she was speaking the truth. I shouldn't be clinging onto him, things have changed now.
