No one's POV"It's okay, Dave. You can go back to the club. I'll leave the key card at the front desk." She said quietly before shutting the door. She sat on the floor, her back leaning against the door as she cried her heart out.
Maybe if she cry hard enough it'll help with the pain.
It didn't.What happened to what they had?
She was clueless. She has always been dumb, so dumb that she had no idea she was being played, maybe it was the love she have for him that made her numb. She walked over to the luggage that was left unzipped on the bed. She flipped the luggage open and saw her clothes mixed with his. Some of his shirts that people would think were hers because of how much she was seen with them on. She almost got confused of which ones were hers, like always, but he wasn't there to help her sort out their clothing.
"You're such an idiot." She mumbled to herself, wiping her tears over and over again. It wasn't the time to reminisce, every memory they had was painful to think about. So she just took out those she remembered she bought for herself, shoving them inside her bag.
The door swung open and she cursed under her breath for forgetting to lock the door. She saw him from the corner of her eyes, walking towards her like nothing happened and it took everything in her to not punch the stupid smile off of his face but she wanted to hear what lie he's gonna say this time.
"Hey babe!" His cheerful voice rang in her ears. She gave him the most natural looking smile she could muster.
"Baby? Are you okay?" He asked, reaching out to her to hold her but she stepped away.
"Yeah," she put in the last piece clothing in her back, zipping it close as he watched her.
"How's the party?" She quietly asked, facing him to look at his face. She wanted to see what he look like lying to her face.
"Seems like you had fun.""It was okay. Dave told me you're back so I'm here. " he said, still looking at her bag and his luggage that was left half empty. Her eyes landed on his shirt, it was buttoned down almost half way. Her gazed went to his messy hair and travelled down his neck where a red mark can be seen.
"What's that?" He pointed at the bag but she ignored him."You shouldn't have come. I must've interrupted something." she said, still eyeing on the mark.
"What are you saying?"
She took out the phone he gave her and threw it on the bed along with their matched bracelet.
"What are you doing?" he asked worriedly. There was alcohol in his system but he sure as hell knew what was happening.
"Where are your clothes?" He grabbed her arm with one hand and the other went to his luggage, pushing his stuff aside.
"Jillienne, answer me!"She pushed his hand off of her.
"Don't touch me."He was taken aback by her action. He studied her face and fear took over him.
"No, no, you're gonna leave. You can't." He rambled. "You can't leave me."
Her hurt eyes pierced through him and he knew she will do as she say. She took her back and walked passed him but he grabbed her wrist and spinned her around.
"Let go off me, Luke."
"No! At least tell me what's wrong!" He yelled. "Why are you leaving me?"
"Because it's over between us. I'm breaking up with you."
"What?" He freed her wrist and ran his fingers through his hair. Frantically looking everywhere.
"No, let's talk this out.""I don't want to talk, Luke. I'm leaving." She started walking towards the door but stop when Luke stood in her way, his hands went up to her arms. She trembled in anger at his touch. She immediately pushed him away and took a step back, disgust rushing through her body.
"Don't touch me! Don't you dare touch me with the same hands you touch her with!" she yelled at him, tears rolling down her cheeks and his eyes widened.
"Mae, let me explain."
"Luke, just stop. I don't really wanna listen to what you have to say."
"Please, listen to me."
"I don't wanna hear it."
"At least hear me out before ending it." He groaned. She shook her head and walked passed him.
"So, that's it? You're running away again?"
She kept walking.
"Fine! Do that! That's what you do best anyway! You run away every chance you get!" He yelled, making her halt. And then it was quiet, too quiet that she could hear his heavy breathing.
"I'm done. Once you head out that door, I'm not going to run after you anymore. " He spoke again, his voice calmer.
Her hand grabbed the knob, turning around to look at him one last time. His face was red and he looked like he had way too many drinks, he probably won't remember about their talk the next morning but drunk words are honest words, he meant what he said.
"You shouldn't have made me stay the first time I wanted to leave, Hem. Maybe we're better off apart after all."
She opened the door and was greeted by Ashton and Calum leaning against the wall in the hallway. They stood straight and looked at her worriedly but she ignored them as she walked, almost running towards the elevator. She saw Ashton went inside Luke's room and the door slammed shut. She hastily pushed the button when she saw Calum ran towards the elevator."Jill, stay. It's dangerous to be out this late." Calum held the door to prevent it from closing.
"Why do you care." her voice came out flat.
"Just stay the night. I'll get you a room."
"I'm tired, Calum. "
"But-"
"Please," her voice trembled. "Just let me leave." She begged, her tears rolling down her face again. She usually don't let anyone see her break down before, she didn't like being seen on her weakest state, only Luke had seen her in her worst. Calum knew she needed to be alone so he pulled his hand back.
"Please be safe." He told her as the door closes.
She stared at the door as the elevator moved. She wiped her tears, pulling her hood down to hide her red face. The elevator door opened and she stepped out and walked out of the hotel with her head down and a hand over her face as she walk pass some of the fans who seemed to have recognized her, picking up her pace when she saw a cab stopped in front of the hotel.
"Where to maam?" The cab driver asked.
Where was she supposed to go?
All that she know is that any place away from him is better."Drive me to the nearest hotel in the area, please." She weakly told him. He nodded and drove away.
