Jillienne's POV
My phone started ringing and didn't seem like it was gonna stop anytime soon so I just rolled over and grabbed my phone from the side table.
I unlocked my phone and checked the time before answering the video call.
"Lucas." I groaned and buried my face on my pillow, too lazy to get up.
"It's 8 am!" I whined and rolled over my bed back and forth.
"Hi baby." He said chuckling. "I checked before calling and it's past 8 back there."
"It's November, Luke. Everyone's excused to oversleep, especially me." I whined. Cold weather makes me sleepy, it has always been like that since I was little.
"Very cute. But please open your eyes"
I looked at my screen to glare at him but all I could see were his feet sprawled on the bed.
"Did you skype me so I could stare at your humongous feet?"
"Rude. I have a surprise for you but now I'm having second thoughts if I should show you."
I rolled my eyes. He knew how much I hate surprises and he always try to use it to piss me off everg chance he gets.
"I'm so close to flying to LA to kick your ass."
"I would love that actually." He laughed, at least I heard him laugh since I still couldn't really see his face.
I scoffed. "Loser."
"First, call me 'Baby'." I could really imagine him smirking.
"I'm hanging up~" I sang.
"Well, it was worth a try." He chuckled before switching his camera.
"Uhh you know I love your eyes, but for real?" I asked, starting to get annoyed. All I could see were his eyes and quiff.
For gods sake!
He wiggled his eyebrows and I gave him a disgusted look.
"Now, now, don't be a grumpy little princess." He moved his phone away from his face and smiled. My eyes widened and my hand covered my mouth.
He got his lip pierced! A LIP PIERCING!
I wasn't expecting to ever see him with a lip piercing, I never would've guessed he was into facial piercing or anything like that.
"So you like it?" He let out a nervous laugh.
"Does Ma know?" I asked but it came out as an excited scream followed by a few squeals. I've always been fascinated with piercings and tattoos although I haven't gone to the extreme and get them all over my body, In fact I only have 2 piercings on my left ear and 1 on my right.
"Really, that's all you had to say?" He raised an eyebrow.
"What no it's wonderful! Oh my gosh, Luke!!!!" I admired his piercing through the screen.
"You're freaking out." He smirked..
"I love it oh my god. It looks amazing!" I cupped my face with my hands.
"It's worth the pain then 'cos this still hurt like shit. Can this stand as your birthday gift?"
He chuckled.
"You just got it?"
"Yeah, we just came back. Thought it would look badass."
"Please tell me you asked your Mom about this."
"Uh about that..." He scratched his head.
"Hemmings! She's going to kill you!"
And then I was left with the job to explain to his Mom that a lip piercing isn't so bad. She did get angry but what can she do when he already got his lip pierced. I told her he could've gotten a tattoo but he didn't, I think she got my point because after I told her that she didn't sound so angry anymore.

Luke got a lip piercing but was afraid to actually tell his mom about it, very punk rock.
