Luke's POV
It was long ass flight and we just landed. Since we didn't want the media and fans to know about us coming, we made sure to be extra careful by not bringing our guitars, would that help? Fuck it. We were dead tired and dealing with a crowd is the last thing we wanted in this trip.
"Hey Luke, you okay?" Ashton asked, now walking to the hospital. Ashton decided to book a hotel we could stay in just a few blocks away from the hospital and we all agreed to head there after we checked in but Michael and Calum collapsed on the bed and fell asleep.
"I'm fine." I mumbled, fixing my hood and my sunglasses.
"Her friend said she's doing fine now. Don't worry." He smiled.
"How did you know I was worried, you can barely see my face." I chuckled.
"Well for one, you're playing with your lip ring. Second, you're hands are fidgeting." He chuckled. I let out a shaky breath.
"I'm more scared than worried."
He looked at me and was about to speak when I sprinted to Aika, she was standing outside the hospital waiting for us.
"Hey." I said and she looked at me confused.
"Luke?" She asked and I nodded. We followed her inside and we stopped in front of a room.
"I didn't tell her anything." She said and I nodded my head.
"Thank you for this." I told her and she smiled.
"It's for my bestfriend, I'd do anything to make her feel better. I wish I was there." Her voice cracked.
"Has she told you why?" I asked, my voice almost coming out as a whisper. She shook her head, wiping her tears and Ashton gave her a hug to comfort her.
"You should go, Luke. We'll get some food." He said.
I pushed my hood back and removed my sunglasses, taking a deep breath before turning the door knob. I stepped in and saw her on the bed watching TV.
"Aika, I told you I'm fine. You should go ho-" She stopped when she saw me.
"Hey." I said. The moment she looked at me everything I wanted to tell her slipped out of my mind. She turned away, her eyes going to the tv remote in her hands.
I grabbed a chair and sat next to her bed. I studied her face and noticed the plaster on her forehead, a frown formed as my eyes travelled down to her bandaged covered wrist.
"Do I at least get a Hello?" I mumbled.
"Why are you here?" She asked, her voice lacking emotion.
"To see you." I said, playing with my fingers on my lap. She gave a small nod and then it was quiet again. Silence was never this loud.
"What happened?" I asked her.
She shrugged. "I just did it."
"Why did you do it?" I asked. I tried to not make it obvious that I was about to breakdown but my voice cracked.
"Because I was tired. I'm tired." She said.
---Jillienne's POV
The moment I saw him standing by the door I felt myself freeze. I was unsure of what to say or feel, I couldn't even bring myself to look at him.
"Do I at least get a Hello?"
I heard him mumble. I was supposed to avoid him and he wasn't supposed to know about what happened. And I definitely was not expecting him to fly her to see me.
