It was about 8:40, my mother was just getting in from work .

"Hey junior , I didn't think you would be here ". Mama said kissing his face

" It's okay , it's my fault , I apologize , I really shouldn't have brought him here " I responded

After we made up , he left & went to his dorm & after mama went to sleep , I snuck out & Demetrius was waiting for me around the corner. I got in the car & we left to his house.

" Me & my brothers Deryl , Drake & Dylan, I'm the youngest ." He responded.

" Where are your parents?" I asked

"My mama died, 2 years ago & last I heard bout my daddy he was with is family in Jamaica." He answered

"I'm sorry to hear that " I said

"It's all good , me & my brothers taking care of each other ." He said .

I just nodded & walked around & looked at pictures , until I heard keys & people walking in.

"Shit man , that party was lit asf though " one voice said .

"Hell yeah , aye Demetrius , what you cooking bruhh ? " another said

"Oh shit , look like ace got some company" the other voice said looking at me

"What's your name ma ?" He asked

"You here with Demetrius ?"he asked again

"Yes I am " I responded

"Okay , I'm Dylan , that's Deryl , & this here Drake , we his big brothers " he said pointing to each one .

"Nice to meet y'all , they call me Nicey " I responded .

" Y'all get y'all black asses from by my lady" Demetrius said coming out of the kitchen .

"She need to get rid of you & get with a real one " Dylan said winking at me .

"Man shut your old ass up ,& y'all be out , I told y'all last night I had company ."Demetrius said .

"Oh yeah , shoo did tell us , let's be out , find our own ladies " Drake said pushing the other brothers out the door .

"Man I'm sorry , they a trip ." Demetrius said going back in the kitchen

"It's okay , there fun though " I said giggling.

"I'm glad you think so " he said coming out with too plates.

We ate , and I must say , it was really good , we talked about everything in our lives , and then I asked that one question I been wondering about for the longest.

"So how did your mom die ?" I asked .

He paused for a second & then looked & then answered

"Some people I got involved with killed her, because they couldn't find me, I was hiding" he said looking away.

"It's alright , I promised my brother I wasn't gone go back for them , I would've got myself killed " he said with a tear rolling down his cheek
