You spent the remainder of your summer hidden in your room from your father. He didn't really notice, he was too busy torturing your mother.

Draco wrote to you every day. Sometimes he asked about your family, other times he just talked about Hogwarts. You were thankful that he tried to keep your mind off of things.

Finally you left for school. The train ride was boring. You sat with Harry, but he just talked to Ron the whole time. Hermione was reading, so you sat silently and listened to Ron and Harry fight over whether Ireland or Bulgaria is better at Qudditch.

When you got to Hogwarts, you sat in silence at the Ravenclaw table. Today was turning out to be very boring.

The Beaxbatons Academy girls bored you, but Harry and Ron could not stop staring. You looked at Hermione and she rolled her eyes.

When the Durmstrang students came in, you watched in awe at their entrance. And then you saw Viktor Krum. You gasped and looked at Ron.

"Viktor Krum!" He mouthed excitedly.

Finally Dumbledore stood up, and announced the Triwizard Tournament. Your eyes lit up.

Then Barty Crouch announced that you had to be 17 to enter. You groaned while everyone yelled insults.

Your first Defense Against the Dark Arts class was unforgettable. Professor Moody was crazy. You were really scared of him.

You sat next to Harry, and professor Moody was teaching about the Unforgivable curses. Hermione sounded like she was about to cry as she answered his questions.

As he demonstrated each curse, your fear from the night of the Quidditch cup returned. As he showed the Imperious curse, you sink down in your seat, trying to block it out.

As he showed the Cruciatus curse, you covered your eyes with one hand. Harry grabbed your other hand to comfort you, even though he had no idea why you were so upset.

When he finally used Avada Kedavra, you flinched and tears rolled down your face. Harry looked confused and upset, but he still held your hand.

When the class was over he walked out with you, but didn't ask any questions. Finally Harry left to go find Ron, and Draco came over.

"You okay?" He asked, putting an arm around your shoulders. You nodded, and he soon left too.

As you walked down the stairs, you saw Neville leaning against the wall with a pained look on his face.

"Are you okay?" You ask him. He looks at you surprised, as you had never spoken to him before.

"Umm... Yeah..." He murmurs. You pull him into a hug.

"I know it bothered you as much as it bothered me. If you ever need someone to talk to, in here." You say, then let go of him and walk away. Then you hear professor Moody call Neville back into his classroom.

You walked into the library and saw Hermione, Harry, and Ron all huddled in a corner. You stand behind a bookshelf to listen to what they are saying.

"She's been really on edge, and I don't know what's wrong." Harry said.

"Something must have happened. Did you notice she has barely complained about Draco since The World Cup?" Ron scoffed.

"Obviously she's having a hard time at home. She just needs someone to be there for her." Hermione finally finished. You waited a few seconds, then went up to them.

"Hey Harry." You say. They all smile at you uneasily, and Hermione pulled you into a hug.

"Let's go sit in the great hall. Everyone is putting their names in, I'd like to see who is entering." She said, and pulled you by the wrist away from the boys.

You sat with Hermione in the great hall, and watched as Cedric Diggory's friends pushed him towards the Goblet of Fire. He turned and smiled and waved at you, then put his name in. You were caught off guard, but waved back, and Hermione smirked.

"What was that about? I've never spoken to him!" You say to her. She laughs.

Then Fred and George come.

"It's not going to work." Hermione sang. The boys sat down on either side of Hermione. It creeped you out how they did everything in unison.

The boys drank their aging potion and successfully got past Dumbledore's aging line. Everyone cheered, but they were suddenly blasted across the room. As they got up, they realized they had grown old, and started blaming each other.

Everyone's attention had been taken off the boys when Viktor Krum walked in.

"Merlin's Beard! Hermione! He's looking at you!" You squeal. Hermione gives Krum a slight smile.

"You're so lucky!" You breathe, and she laughs.

The day to pick the Champions finally arrived. You sat with Cho Chang, a friend of yours from Ravenclaw.

"I hope Cedric gets picked." She says. You knew she had a crush on Cedric, but you also knew she had a crush on Harry. You honestly wanted her to just pick Cedric. Cho was so pretty and if she asked Harry out, your chances were gone.

Fleur Delacour and Viktor Krum were picked, and so was Cedric. Dumbledore started to make a speech, but Snape turned everyone's attention to the Goblet, which was picking a fourth Champion.

"Harry Potter." Dumbledore said, he looked angry.

You looked at Harry across the room. Was he insane!?

He looked pale, and he wouldn't stand up.

"HARRY POTTER!" Dumbledore boomed, and Hermione finally pushed Harry off the bench. It was silent for a moment , but then people got angry.

"He's a cheat!"

"He's not even 17 yet!"

Harry slowly made his way up to the professors. Hagrid kept shaking his head and mumbling "no" over and over again. And then all the champions were dragged out, and the rest of the students were dismissed. You ran towards Hermione and Ron.

Ron was angry. He was silent and clenching his fists.

"Ron?" You ask.

"Why didn't he tell me how he did it? He knew I wanted to enter!" He says, then storms off.

"Hermione, I don't think he put his name in. You saw how surprised and scared he was." You say. Hermione nods.
