Chapter 37

"W-what?" You ask. You turn bright red when you notice everyone staring at you and Harry. Harry lets go of you and grabs your hand, then leads you upstairs.

You take a seat on the bed, and he sits beside you.

"I love you (y/n). I realized while you were missing. I was so worried, and I knew I couldn't live without you. I'm sorry that I hurt you so much in the past." He says sadly. You smile.

"It took you long enough to figure it out!" You laugh. Harry looks at you, confused.

"I've been hopelessly obsessed with you since first year. And you're just now realizing that you love me?" You tease. Harry smiles.

"Sorry it took so long." He laughs. Then his face turns serious.

"Did they hurt you at all?" He asks, taking both of your hands lightly.

"No I'm okay. I was scared of course, but Draco made sure they didn't touch me." You say solemnly.

"Well I suppose I'll have to thank him then." He sighs. You smile.

"So what have you been up to then?" You ask. He then explains the horcruxes to you.

"Ron, Hermione and I are going to come up with a new plan and leave in a few days." He finishes.

"I'm coming too." You say. Harry shakes his head.

"No way. I'm not risking losing you again." He says.

"But Harry-" you start, but he cuts you off.

"Besides, they have your wand. You stay here with Bill and Fleur." He insists.

"No! I can't let you just leave and sit home helpless wondering if you're even alive!" You shriek, standing up.

"I will not let the death eaters even have a chance at getting to you again. I'm not changing my mind." He snaps.

"You let Ron and Hermione go. Why am I any different?" You ask. Harry opens his mouth, then shuts it.

"They didn't give me any other option." He mutters eventually.

"And neither am I. I'm coming with you. End of story." You say. Harry sighs, then smiles.

"I love you." He says again, wrapping an arm around you.

"I love you too." You say, and he quickly leans in and kisses you.

Harry informed you of the plan, that Hermione was going to pretend to be Bellatrix and they were going to break into Hogwarts. Ollivander had made you and Luna new wands, since she lost hers too.

It was simple yet beautiful, an ebony wand with a dragon heart string core.

"We are going to leave at... 8 tomorrow morning." He says, and you don't notice his hesitation.

"Okay, see you in the morning then. Goodnight!" You say, and kiss his cheek. You hear him sigh as you walk away, but think nothing of it.

You wake up the next morning at 7. You get dressed and grab your things in less than 15 minutes. You go downstairs, and the kitchen is empty.

"I guess they aren't ready yet." You say to yourself.

You sat in the kitchen alone, until about 7:45, when Luna was awake.

"Good morning!" You greet. She smiles.

"Who are you waiting for?" She asks.

"Harry, I'm going with them to Gringotts." You say.

"Oh, I saw them leave early this morning. They were very quiet, but I heard them anyway." She says.
