Chapter 15

"It killed him!" You heard Ron whine.

"What's up?" You asked. Hermione glared at Ron.

"Ronald has lost his rat." She said angrily.

"I didn't lose him! Your cat killed him!" Ron yelled. You smirked as they bickered.

Buckbeak was to be executed today, so the four of you went to Hagrid's to comfort him. But you were stopped by Malfoy, laughing as he watched for the execution.

"You foul loathsome evil little cockroach!" Hermione yelled. Draco squealed as Hermione pointed her wand at Draco's neck.

"Hermione he's not worth it!" Ron said. Hermione stopped and acted like she was over it, then turned and punched Draco in the face. You gasped, and Draco screamed in agony as his friends dragged him away.

"You filthy mud blood!" He called.

"That felt good." Hermione smiled.

You all headed down to Hagrid's, but he quickly ushered you out when the executioner arrived. You started on your way back to the hill.

"Scabbers!" Ron said in delight, and caught his rat. The four of you stood and watched the execution from afar. Hermione stifled a sob and turned to Ron, and Harry hugged her too. A tear rolled down your face as you thought of the beautiful creature, now dead. Harry discreetly grabbed your hand, still hugging Hermione, and squeezed it.

"Ow! He bit me!" Ron said, and dropped his rat. He chased after it, right into the whomping willow.

"Ron no!" You said. Suddenly a large black dog came and dragged Ron into a hole. You quickly followed, expecting Harry and Hermione to follow, but they hadn't gotten past the whomping willow so easily.

You ignored them and followed the dog. Ron was on a bed, inside the shrieking shack.

"(Y/n)! It's a trap!" Ron pointed to the corner, and Sirius black was there.

"He's an animagus!" Ron cried. You ignored the man, as he didn't seem to have much interest in you.

"Ron your leg!" You cried. He ignored you as Harry and Hermione finally arrived.

Sirius went on and on about killing someone. He was quite dramatic.

Suddenly Lupin appeared, and you all thought he would help you, but he greeted Sirius like an old friend.
Snape also came in, to help you, but Harry blasted him into the wall.
"You! I trusted you! He's a werewolf!" Hermione growled at Lupin.
Lupin laughed.

"You really are the brightest witch of your age."

Soon you learned that Sirius only wanted the rat, which turned out to be Peter Pettigrew, the real person who gave away Harry's parents. You all went outside, thinking everything would be solved, but then professor Lupin started acting up.

"Remus did you take your potion?" Sirius begged. You were the closest to Lupin, and when he turned full werewolf, he came down at you with his claws, knocking you out.

You woke up to see Hermione and Harry disappear from the middle of the room.

"What? What happened?" You asked Ron. But two seconds later Hernione and Harry burst through the doors.

"What?!" You shrieked. Hermione and Harry just laughed.

It was the day you were going home. You sat with Harry on the train.

"Sirius wanted me to live with him." He beamed.

"That's amazing Harry." You smiled. He would finally have some real family.
