I balanced the phone between my shoulder and my ear as I poured two cups of coffee for Harry and I. "How is my niece?" I asked.
"She is doing great. Making her mom fat," Nicki answered. I giggled and set the coffee pot down, grasping the phone with my hand now.
"Does her mom like the gifts her Aunt Sam and Uncle Harry got her?"
Nicki squealed. "I have them laying out on my bed right now. They're precious, Sam. Thank you," she replied.
I smiled and propped the phone back between my shoulder and ear as I grabbed the mugs from the table and slowly walked over to the bed. "We're so happy you like them. I miss you so much, Nick. I can't believe I won't see you for another month," I pouted.
"I know. It sucks, but I'll still be very pregnant. You don't have to worry."
Harry sat up in the bed and tied his hair up before taking the mug from me. Thank you, he mouthed. "Well, good. This is the one time in your life you'll ever be fat, so I'm going to enjoy it." She laughed on the other end. "I've got to go, Nick. It's going to be a busy day here in Belgium. I'll call you soon," I said.
We ended the call and I snuggled up next to Harry, the both of us sipping on our coffee. His eyes were fixed on the TV, one of his hands holding his mug, the other resting on my thigh while his fingers traced patterns on my bare skin. He hadn't had a full conversation with Louis in over a week. They were both stubborn and giving each other the cold shoulder. Louis wouldn't even talk to me.
I carefully sat up. "Let's go out tonight," I suggested.
Harry turned to me and smirked. "Getting bored of doing the same thing all the time?" he teased.
Giggling, I set my mug down on the side table. "Traveling has been amazing, but I want us to have some fun. Besides, we're in Belgium. I want to see the sights," I slightly begged, pouting out my lower lip.
He sighed. "Anything for you," he said in a flat tone, but his lips slipped back up into a smirk. I gave him a quick peck on the cheek, signaling my thanks. I'd been in a much better mood these past few days, and it was because I didn't have to time to look on social media.
"Now finish that coffee, we have things to do," I ordered and got off the bed, grabbing my coffee. I turned my back and started heading off to the bathroom.
I heard Harry's voice right when I shut the door. "Yes, ma'am!"
