I woke with a weight on my chest, my left arm numb. With my eyes barely open, I turned my head to see Sam still asleep next to me, cuddled into my side. I smirked at the sight of her. Her hair was fanned out around her, the sheets clung tight to her chest. She was still beautiful, regardless.

I desperately needed to go to the bathroom but I didn't want to wake her. My bladder eventually convinced me to get up and I did, slowly sliding myself out from underneath her. She stirred a bit but didn't wake.

After sliding on a new pair of briefs and my sweats from last night, I crept out of my room to head to the bathroom. As I reached for the door handle, it opened, and Gemma stood there. She clicked her tongue at me, wagging her finger, a smile playing on her lips.

"What?" I asked, pushing past her to get into the bathroom. She stood just outside the door, her hands on her hips.

"Next time you take your assistant to bed, try to be a little quieter," she said. My eyes widened and she fake gagged, shaking her head. She was still smiling as she walked off down the hall.

When I finished up in the bathroom, I headed back to my room. I shut the door behind me and when I turned, I saw Sam sitting up in the bed, wearing my shirt from last night with her sleep shorts. She gave me a tired smile when she saw me. "Hi," she murmured.

"Hi," I replied and joined her back on the bed. She leaned over and kissed me before pulling away and flopping back on the bed. "So, my sister heard us last night."

She took the pillow from behind her head and pressed it over her face. "Oh, God," her muffled voice groaned. I chuckled and removed the pillow from her face.

"I'm just as embarrassed as you are."

Sam sat back up and sighed, laying her head on my shoulder. "I want to talk to you about something."

Considering her affection this morning, I doubted she was going to tell me that we made a mistake last night, but that didn't help my chest from tightening at her choice of words.

"We can be together. I want to. Your family can know; the boys can know. I just want to keep everything really private, okay?" She looked up at me under her lashes. How could I say no to her?

I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and brought us back down on the bed, cuddling her back into me. "Whatever you want. I know you're not comfortable with the attention."

She nodded. "Thank you. One day people can know, but just not now."

I planted a kiss on the top of her head and she put her head on my chest. We sat like that for a long while in the silence, her hands around my waist as my fingers played with the ends of her hair.
