Oklahoma Love

Intro

Im in my third year of college and it is fall semester. My name is Jade Billings. I am a 21 yr. old college and rodeo gal who is now living in Porum, Oklahoma. I have 2 best friends we'll technically I consider them as my brothers. Their names are Cody and Tyler. We have been friends since we were kids. We all got accepted to the same school and now living it down in Oklahoma. We got accepted with a rodeo scholarship. Cody ropes calves, team ropes and saddle bronc. Tyler just ropes steers. For me I rope calves and steers.

We keep our horses on campus. I brought my two handsome boys with me. I brought my 8 yr. old head horse and his name is Stark. I brought my 10 yr. old calf horse and his name is Chancey. I love these two dearly. I enjoy their company and without their help I wouldn't have gotten this far in my rodeo life. They are my everything. I treat em like if they are my own kids. Keep them up to date on everything. Take em in for check ups every 6 months. Yep I spoil my horses.

It was the first day of practice on a monday evening. Tyler and I were roping a few, while Cody was breaking in some horses. Usually we all rope together and help each other out with a few pointers but Cody rides on Monday and Wednesday. On Mondays and Wednesdays evenings Tyler and I cut our practice short so we can watch Cody ride.

T=Tyler, J=Jade*

T: Hey Jade what time does Cody get done with practice?

J: Umm... I think 7 or 730. Why?

T: Because we got invited to a party tonight. Do you wanna go?

J: Sure. What time does it start?

T: At 8. Do you think Cody wants to go?

J: Ok. Of course he'll go.. He NEVER turns down a party offer. (Chuckle).

T: (chuckles) true.. Well alright then.. I shall see you crazy buckaroos later.

J: Later.

*Later that Night*

Jade, Tyler, and Cody showed up at the party. There was a bunch of people. People be dancing with one another. This was a typical college party. Music blasting, people dancing, everyone playing drinking games and making out. Tyler downed like 2 beers and 3 shots of whiskey. Cody on the other hand was completely wasted. He didn't go straight for the beer he went straight for the liquor. Taking shots left and right.. Making up his own drinking games and what not. As for me I only had 1 beer. I'm not much of party person. I just came because I know how Cody and Tyler get when they are completely wasted. I probably have to sneak em in their dorm some how. If they miss curfew again then they Wouldn't be able to rope this weekend. I know your thinking 'why in the hell is there a party on a Monday night' but this is college. Anything goes down. Well anyways it was gettin late so I had to drag my two crazy brothers out and head back to the dorm.

It was one in the morning and our curfew is at midnight. Good thing we live in the same dorm building. I stay down the hall from the boys. I made sure that nobody was roaming the halls. So I snuck the boys back in their dorm. After I put them to bed, I walked back to my dorm and I bumped into our coach.

*C=Coach J=Jade*

C: Jade what are you doing roaming around this late?

J: Oh.. Umm. I was hangin out with Cody and Tyler and I lost track of time.

C: you know your not suppose to be in the same dorm as boys.

J: Yeah I know. The boys invited me to watch the HORK Dog video with them.

C: Alright.. I'll let you sly this time. But remember curfew is at midnight. Good night Jade.

J: Alright... thanks coach and good night.
