Nashville part two

*Jade's POV*

LJ left to his signing deal. He told me I should roam around Nashville. I did what he told me. I went shopping for souvenirs. I found some neat stuff. I bought my mom and myself a picture frame. I bought my dad and brothers key chains that was a guitar. While I was roaming around stores I came across a Luke Bryan poster and it was signed. Then I thought of my sister. She's a MAJOR Luke Bryan fan. Like seriously, she has all of his albums on her iPhone. Anyways I bought the poster for her. I continued my shopping when my phone ranged. I got a text message from LJ. Sayin he wants to meet up for lunch and asked if we can do a double date. I replied with a simple yes. He told me to meet him at some new diner, and his signing deal was almost over. I left the store and met up with him at the new diner.

I walked into the diner and saw LJ siting with Sean. Then I thought 'oh, this is who will be eating with'. When he saw me walk in, he had big smile on his face. Ugh.. that smile gets me weak at the knees most of the time.

*LJ's POV*

I was talking to my buddy Sean, when I saw a pretty pistol come walking in. Normally girls just as 'high classy'. But for Jade it's a casual look every day. She don't have to try. Its all about t-shirts, denim jeans, and cowboy boots. I know she told me, when she was a kid, she was ALWAYS with her dad. Because her brothers and sister had school and her mom had to work. Jade basically grew up around her dad more. More like a daddy's girl, but not to spoiled like others. She's a simple girl. Don't take crap from anyone or anything. Down to earth.

"Hey babe" she says. "hey" I said. "You know Sean?" "oh.. yeah.. hi" "This is Sean's wife" " hi.. so nice to meet you" she said to her. After we settled, we finally ordered our food.

"So Jade, tell me about yourself" Sean said. "Im twenty one years old. I'm from New Mexico. I'm working on my bachelors degree in Athletic Training... I rodeo on the side" she replies. "Oh wow! I can see why LJ fell for you. You are completely differently than what he has dealt with" Sean said. I gave him the "what hell look". She looked my way and gave me an 'oh really' look. 'Damn it Sean... why? why?' I thought. I knew he was gonna embarrass me in some way. After a moment of silence, we all started talking about random things. I wanted to go back to the hotel and rest up for tonight.

~Meanwhile back at the hotel~

"Babe I need to rest up for tonight" I told her. "oh... ok. I'll be here in the dining room watching TV" she said. "Nope... your coming with me" "no.... Please! I'm not sleepy"..." well how am I gonna sleep if I don't have my teddy next to me" I asked. "use a pillow.. still the same thing except hairless" "haha... Nice try! But your still coming with me" "Fine!!! you know I'm gonna be up all night" she says. "that's the whole point Jade". "hey... You better woah there. I'm not into these monkey business yet". "Hun?" "what" " I'm kidding" "oh.. good.. hahaha" she said nervously. I tried to kiss her but she put the pillow over her face. "pwease"! I begged. "not. uh." she says. Then I started tickling her. With my luck, she's not ticklish on her sides or her thigh. She peeked from underneath the pillow and saw I was facing the other way.

*Jade's POV*

I saw his back facing me. I slowly removed the pillow from my face and slide out of bed. Before I knew it, he turned around and grabbed me. 'Awh damn it' I thought. "and where do you think your going" he asked. "Uhhh.. I'm not telling" I said. "Jade"? "LJ?" "Jade"? "LJ"? "Jade" "You rang" "where you going" "ummm... watch TV... while you sleep" "you ain't going anywhere.... I need my teddy bear" "I am not a hairy stuffed animal" "hahahahaha..... Jade please" "fine...." "can I get a kiss" he asked. "Ok" I said calmly. Before he could I put the pillow in his face and started laughin. He caught me off guard when he wrapped me up in his arms, then he started rubbing his lil beard in the crook of my neck. 'oh god please don't find my weak spot' I thought. I tried to hold in my laughter but I couldn't. "Babe...b...ba...babe stop" I said between laughs. He cupped his ear "what did you say? don't stop" "please stop"! "Nope... you get no breaks.. until I get what I want" "ok...ok...ok. what is it" "you know". I wrapped my arms around his neck, then I moved my lips to his ear. I whispered "I'm still not giving in", then pecked his cheek. He gave me a sad face. "aww... why is my whittle baby sad" I said in a baby voice. "Jade". "LJ". "Please". "please what" "you know what" "ugh... fine" I gave him a peck. "what was that" he asked. "uhhh.... the kiss you wanted". "now that's not fair" "we'll I'm gonna go watch TV" I said. He followed me into the living room. "ummm.. babe what are doing" "I'm following you to the living room". "I thought you were gonna rest up". "but I like sleeping next to you". "fine.. lets go back to the room".

We both laid down. I fell asleep myself. After about an hour later, it was already time for LJ to head back to the arena. But I love sleeping in his arms.

*LJ's POV*

After my short nap, I was pumped to ride. I was pumped about my draw tonight. I was the leader coming into tonight's round. All I had to do was be consistent about my ride. Jade didn't wanna sit in the skybox, so she kicked back with me in the lounge. "Babe" I asked. "yeah" " what do you wanna do tonight" " I wanna ride hard.. ride for ninety plus points" she said playfully. "and where is this taking place" "bedroom" she whispers. I blushed a little. "hahahahaha! I made my babe blushed... just cute" then she pinched my cheeks. "Shut up! no you didn't" I said. "I'm kiddin babe... I wanna head over to the after party" she says. "alright... than its settled" I said. Then I walked off and got ready for my ride.

"Bare down Larry" was all I heard from Sean, before I left the chute. I felt like I was on cloud nine when the buzzard went. I scored an eighty- eight. I was still leading going into the short round. I walked back to the sports medicine though. I had to ice my right shoulder. Earlier in the year I dislocated my right shoulder. I went back to the lounge and sat next to Jade. "LJ. What happened" she asked. "oh.. it's nothing. I injured my right shoulder earlier in the year" I said. At least I get a week off before the finals.

After a few rides, short round was about to start. I was the first to pick. I chose 'Gunpowder & Lead'. This bull threw me off in the my home-state (New Mexico) earlier in the season. There was five more rides left before me.

It was finally my turn to ride. Sean started to pull my rope. Every time I get ready to ride, they always play this song 'Sail' by Awolnation.

I didn't think to much about revenge. I let the chips fall where they lay. Then the eight second buzzard went off. That seem like it took forever. My weekend went like I had planned. Stayed consistent and kept my cool. After winning this event, I moved to the top three in the standings.

Jade and I were heading over to the after party. I asked her if she wanted to go. She said "yeah". I bought her a drink. We were having a blast. We danced and hung out with my buddies. I have no idea what the hell happened, but all of a sudden Jade was no where in sight. I looked for her, but still couldn't find her. I checked the bathroom, still nothing. But I didn't go in there, I asked a girl if she check for me. I got text, that said 'went back to the room... have fun babe.. love you'. I'm like what the hell? How can she leave like that? I guess I can go back to the room too. I was tired and a bit buzz.

*Jade's POV*

I went to the bathroom and when I came back out some girl was ALL over LJ. Apparently he went along with it. I stood there staring like a weirdo stalker. I felt like going over there and beat the living shyt out of that girl. I decided to leave. I texted him and told I was going back to the room. I didn't want to cause a scene, while people are having a blast. When I left, I shed a few tears. What my dad told when I was a kid "if a guy can't see the way you love him and he hurts you. Then there's no reason for you to stay. Yeah I know it will hurt but you gotta tip your hat down and deal with the pain. And alcohol is not the answer, to cure the pain. But Kid remember who you are". The last line stuck out more. 'Remember who you are'. I wanted to call my sister but its late. Where she lives, they are two hours behind.

I decided to call it night. About an hour later, LJ walks in. Oh my god, did he smell like alcohol. He tried to cuddle next to me, but I moved away. I grabbed a pillow and one of the blankets. I slept in the living room. I was pissed about what happened earlier. "Jade.. what's wrong" he asked. "Nothing... just go to sleep". "Jade". "please LJ.. I don't feel like talking right now. I'm tired and I just want to sleep". I tried so hard to hold back my tears. When he turned back towards the room, tears started streaming down. I didn't care to talk or sleep next to him. Even if I did, I'd probably have a hard time sleeping.
