Oklahoma Love

Nashville

Today we are leaving for Nashville Tennessee for the PBR event. I couldn't be even more nervous, because I never been on a plane before. Before I left I had to let Kollin know that I won't be able to come this weekend.

"Hey Kollin, I'm sorry I won't be able to come over this weekend. I'm going out of town"

"Oh... ok.. maybe next time"

"Yeah... I hope.. I gotta go. See ya in class Tuesday"

"Alrighty.. see you later"

Then I hung up the phone.

We had to drive to Oklahoma City to get on the plane. Which of course was a hour and a half from where we live.

*Couple Hours Later*
'Now boarding flight 110 to Nashville Tennessee' said the lady over the intercom.

"Well that's us. you ready" he asked. "yeah... I'm gonna be honest I've never been on a plane before" "you have nothing to worry about... I'll be seating next to you" "ok..."

I looked out the window and for some reason I felt like I was on cloud nine. We flying above the clouds. Then I thought I could get use to this flying. It was a four hour flight. I decided to take a nap.

*four hours later*
"babe get up... we're about to land" LJ tells me. "mmmm... (yawn)" I fastened my seatbelt.
"How you liking Nashville" he asked. "Its pretty big... you know where I wanna go tonight" "where" "Hard-rock" "than we shall.. but first we gotta check in at the hotel"

We rented a car. A very nice car, a dodge challenger. A handsome cowboy driving a sweet car. We arrived at the hotel and he reserved a suit. The suit looks like an apartment. It had a big bathroom and the bed was huge. LJ needed to rest up for tonight. He'll be riding tonight. I let him take his beauty sleep while I watch tv. I was gonna watch TV in the living room but he dragged me back in the room.

*two hours before the PBR*
"Babe... here is your VIP" "what? I'm in the skybox" he chuckles "yes you are... and your also in the skybox during the finals". "thank you" "your welcome" he gave me a peck on the lips.

We arrived at the arena. I was walking in when someone grabbed me. It was LJ. He whispered in my "come see me at the Monster Energy Booth" "will do love", then he walked off with a smile.

I was waiting in line at the booth he was at because he was signing. Dang, he had a lot of fans, mainly lil kids and girls. He had the biggest smile when I came up to him. I use my iPhone to take our picture. Then he gave me one of his signing pictures that said "To Jade 'I love you' at the bottom was his signature.

I was going to take me seat when I got a text from LJ. "Hey babe, I'm waiting on the picture :(" "Hahaha... hey you better woah.. lol I'm sending it right now" " im no horse... lol ok". I sent him the pic and I wrote 'Good luck and I love you babe :) <3' "thanks hun.. Love you too".

The PBR was starting and they were doing the introduction. LJ was in the top five over all. He wasn't standing in the arena. He was standing at the bucking chutes, right in front of me. After he tipped his hat, he smiled back at me. Honestly I had butterflies in my stomach when he smiled at me.

It was finally LJ's turn to ride. I tried not to be a typical fan where I yell my lungs off. My heart was racing when he left the chutes. The eight seconds was up and he rode for eighty- nine points and took the lead in the round. I couldn't be any more happy for him.

*three hours later*
The bull-riding was finally over. I met up with LJ at the entrance.

*LJ's POV*
I felt good after my ride. I won the round tonight. When I was gonna go meet Jade, I got a call from the PRCA and they told me I made the finals. I was still talking to them when I met up with her. This probably the best year I've had since my rookie year. I told Jade the news and she was happy for me. As I promised her, we went to go celebrate at the hard rock. We took a picture with the big guitar, we had a blast.

We got back to the room and changed into some comfortable clothing. I got a call from one of my sponsors and they wanted me to do a autograph signing tomorrow afternoon. I was told to go to the hard rock tomorrow. I posted my signing time on my fan page.

*Jade's POV*
I had a fun night. LJ won the round and took me to HardRock. He also told me that he made Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in December. 'Going to Vegas twice this year, this should be fun' I thought.

I logged on my Facebook and checked my notifications. I had a hundred notifications. Most of them were pictures and friend requests. Then I saw LJ's post that he'll be signing at the HardRock tomorrow.

I was tired, so I went to bed right away. I guess LJ noticed and he crawled into bed with me. He gave me a kiss on the forehead and whispered 'Good Night'. The bed was so comfy.

*Next Day*
I woke up early for my morning run. I didn't want to bother LJ, I got out of the bed slowly. I put on my gym clothes and headed down stairs. When I got there, there was a few guys in there. I recognized some of em from last night at the bullriding. I recognized Jory Markiss (also my favorite), Chase Outlaw, Ty Pozzobon, and Ryan Dirteater. They all looked at me, like they never seen a girl before. I did my stretches, put on my earphones and started my morning routine.

I was doing ok, until one of them wanted my attention. Sure enough it was Ryan. "Hey Jade.... where's LJ" "He's in the room still" "oh I see... It's good seeing you Jade"

*LJ's POV*
I woke up in a empty bed. I walked around the whole room and still didn't find her. I took a walk to the gym and sure enough, she was there. When I got there, I seen a few of my buddies staring at her. "hey guys.... what are y'all lookin at" I asked even though I knew. "uhh,.. what"? Jory said. "we were lookin at that pretty pistol of there" chase said. "you mean my girlfriend" I asked. "what happened to christen" Sean asked. "She left" I said. "I can see why she left. where did you find her" he asked again. "well, she wanted to work for me at the ranch.. and I hired her.. Christen got a bit jealous... after christen left, I took Jade out to dinner".. "oh... What's her story" "college student. Rodeos. from New Mexico. Grew up on a ranch. youngest out of four kids and is twenty one yrs old" "dam LJ... Didn't think you'd go for college girls.. what does she do... she a barrel racer" "Uhhh.. No.. She ropes and she ropes pretty good.. ropes steers and calves" "wow... Finally got tired of em buckle bunnies.. hahaha.." "Pretty much... this girl is different.. She's down to earth and great person to be around". "Dam boy... Your whipped already.. haha. just kidding bud". "you want to meet her" "sure".

I walked up to her. "Hey Jade.... I got some guys I want you to meet". She took off her earphones and turned around to meet Chase, Jory, Ty, and Sean. "Hi guys.... its nice to meet y'all" she said. That smile and em pretty brown eyes has sent me over the edge. She told me, she was done with her workout. "Im gonna go take a shower.. see ya in a bit" she said. "I'll follow you out.. I need to get dressed to" I replied.

I told my buddies I'll see em later. I walked with Jade back to the room. When we got there I picked her up and threw her on the bed. "Babe I need to shower" she plead. "not uh" "please" "what are you gonna give me" "ummm.. nothing.. hahaha" "what"? "I'm kidding come here" she pecked me on the lips but I still wouldn't let her go. Till I caught a glimpse at the time it was ten- thirty and I needed to be at the HardRock by twelve thirty. I jumped out of bed and ran to the restroom. All I heard was "hey! that's not far" "ooops... Sorry babe but I have my signing at noon" "oh... well that explains it" "you can jump in if you want" "Uhhh.... no" "why" " I can wait" she says.

After I got done getting ready it was already eleven thirty. 'Dam do I really take that long to get ready' I thought. I told Jade I was leaving and gave her a quick kiss.
