Ouch

*Tyler's POV*

"Cody you ass! hurry the hell up" I said. "alright! alright!" he said annoyed. "Have you heard from Jade" I asked him. "no... not recently" he replied. "Eh... she's in love bud. We gotta let her be" I said. "with who" he asked. "my dear brother... you need to find out on your own. She has class today. Maybe will see her today" I said.

*Jade's POV*

I woke up in a empty bed. Normally I don't get up this late. I guess a weekend in Nashville can take a lot out of you. When I got up I only had a hour to get ready for my class! I jumped out of bed and hurried over to the guest house. I looked at the clock and I had thirty minutes left. I went to go feed the horses, but they were fed already. 'Maybe he knew what I was mad about. He's trying to make it up' I thought. Why can't I just talk to him about it. I took another glimpse at the time. Shyt!!!! I'm late!!! I jumped in my truck and rushed to school.

~At School~

I ran to my class. I made it on time. I was trying to catch my breath. When Brittany walked in she saw me. "Hey Jade.. you alright" she asked. "yeah.. I'm trying to catch my breath. I rushed over here and I thought I was gonna be late." I said trying to calm myself. "Ok... Just take deep breaths" she said.

I finally caught my breath and started taking my books out. For some reason I just couldn't concentrate at the moment. All I had on my mind was LJ. Half of my mind tells me, should I talk about it? and the other leave it. Ugh. I hate this when it happens.

After my anatomy class, I went to go see my brothers. I went their dorm. They were both actually there.

"Hey Jade" Tyler said. "Hey guys" I replied. "So how's the ranch life with you know who" Tyler asked. "yeah... that's what I need your help with right now" I said. "Jade... what did he do" Cody asked. "See... over the weekend we went to Nashville. I had a blast. When we went to the after party, things kinda got out of hand. I saw this girl all of him, he went along with it. I don't know if I should even be mad at him. But that night, I left and shed a few tears. I came back to the room and went to sleep. A hour later LJ came in. He tries to cuddle with me but I wouldn't let him. He asked me what's wrong. I told him nothing. Not only that I was tired and upset at the same time. I got up the next morning, he brought me flowers and breakfast. And today, I got up late. I went to go feed Stark and Chancey but they were fed already. Mainly my point is, should I talk to him about what happened or let it go". "Jade you have to. Its the only way to get this problem out of your mind. And I won't let some BullRider mess with my sis. Remember Jade.. Tyler and I are always behind you" Cody said. "Alright. Well I better get going I have class in twenty minutes" I said. "See you around Jade" both of them said. I was happy to see my brothers. I guess I have to do it.

"Good afternoon/ evening class" Kollin said. I didn't say anything, but some how he knew I wasn't being myself. Throughout class I just sat there and took a few notes. As much as I want to walk out of here, I couldn't. But dang it, math went by fast again. I was walking out when Kollin called me over. "Hey Jade.. Everything alright" he asked. "yeah.. I'm just a bit tired from the weekend." I kinda lied. "Oh... well ok.. if you need anything I'm here for you" he said. "thanks" I replied.

I was driving home and this came randomly to my mind. I haven't heard from LJ all day. Usually he texts me even when I'm in class. I pushed another thought away. I got home, and he was home. I didn't have the guts to go in his house. I saddled up Stark and went for a ride. I stopped on a hill and sat on a rock. Watched the Oklahoma sunset. I miss home. I really do. I could use a little of my dad's advice right now. It was getting late, so I rode back home. I guess he didn't see my truck parked. I was un-saddling my horse, when I heard a girls voice. I looked out and I saw a girl hugging LJ. I ducked my head, I took another look. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. He kissed her!!! The girl was Christen!!!

I had so much emotions running right now. Then they saw me. I ran back to the trailer, grabbed everything. Backed up my truck to my trailer. Loaded my horses and all their belongings. I ran inside, packed my bags and everything. He was on my tail when I slammed the door in his face. I was officially pissed! I walked out with my stuff. He tried getting my attention but I couldn't look at him. When I look at him, that one memory came back within a second.

"Jade! Where you going" he yelled. "Don't worry about it... clearly you don't give a damn about me. So why worry about where I'm going" I spoke pissed. "Jade there is nothing going on" he yelled again. "oh please.. This is the second time you've done this to me. First one was at the after party and now this one. I decided to let that one go but no I wanted to know what the hell actually happened. I come home, and you... you had your tongue down her throat!! Why LJ? What did I do to you? If I'm gonna be treated like this, then there's no reason for me to stay" I yelled back at him. "Jade I'm sorry" "well sorry ain't gonna cut it LJ. It's gonna take a lot more than saying a simple sorry, if you want me back!" I yelled back.

I jumped in my truck and drove off. I called Kollin to see if he had a extra stall. He said yeah. I wanted to go back to the campus, but I knew, that was the first place he will look. I stayed over at Kollin's place. He saw the tears, and we talked on his porch. He brought out two sodas and I told him what happened. We talked and talked. Kollin was actually a good listener. He cut me off a few times with his confirmed questions.

I was looking for my phone, then thought back. I left it in the truck. I had twenty missed calls, all of em were left with voicemails and thirty text messages. All from LJ. I didn't bother to listen or read the messages. I stayed on the porch while Kollin went to sleep. All these memories kept going through my mind. Mainly the recent one. I finally got the guts to sleep. I was tired, pissed, and sad!

*LJ's POV*

How can I be such a complete asshole! I let the one thing walk out of my life. Took her for granted. I tried calling and texting her but nothing. I need to find her. I went to her school but I didn't see her truck there. I knocked on her dorm but no answer. Then I saw a guy walk down the hall. He looked like the guy from her pictures. I think his name was Cody. I yelled out his name, he turned around. "Hey have you seen Jade" I asked. "ummm... who are you" he asked. " I'm LJ... Jade's friend". "Oh... so your the guy she was talking about. what did you do to her LJ" he asked. " well I am in love with her. And I did something I regret. I tried explaining to her but she wouldn't let me. Then she took off." I said. " sorry to burst your bubble but no... I haven't seen her yet... what exactly did you do to hurt my sis" he replied sternly. " so she is here!" "no! answer the dam question... what did you do". "I cheated". "what the hell?! that's my sister's heart you broke. you sorry son of a bitch" he yelled. "hey look! I would be pissed if someone broke my sisters heart to.. but I need to talk to her". "well good luck on gettin her back. cause she never gives in.. raised by her dad.. that's one thing you should look out for.. daddy's girls are always the tough ones... for your sake I have no idea where she is... even if I knew I wouldn't tell you" he spoke.
