Sneaky One

I followed the waitress into the private room. I walked in and there was someone sitting by the window. The lights were off and a candle lit on the table. I couldn't recognize the person from a distant. As I walked closer, it was a girl. I was about to speak when the lights came back on.

"SURPRISE!" The whole room yelled!

But the girl still had her back to me. She wore a black strapless dress and had long dark brown hair. Then she turned around.

"Jade?!... What the hell" I said shockingly.

"Happy birthday babe" she said.

Then I saw my family, Cody and Tyler behind me. Without any hesitation I wrapped her up in my arms and gave her a kiss. Believe or not I had a few tears comin down. This girl scared the hell out of me!She had me worried from the get go!

"Babe! dont ever do that again" I said.

"Awh! I'm sorry Larry... It's just I've always wanted to plan a surprise birthday party for you.. I have now"

"Your mean!"

"Haha.. Is my baby mad" she said in a baby voice.

"Yes! just kidding... I love you babe" I said and gave another kiss.

"Mmm.. Love you too.. Come on let's have some fun"

"Quick question.. Where's my birthday gift"

"Uh.. You'll have to wait"

"Oh really... Am I gonna love it"

"Oh honey... You won't forget this birthday.."

"Oooh.. Sounds interesting"

"It sure is"

"Another question.. Whose kids were those, that were handing me notes"

"My niece and nephew"

"But the lil girl said her aunties name is Megan.."

"True..."

"Jade! Were you the one sending me these notes"

"No..."

"Jade?"

"I'm serious.. I didnt send em.."

"Than who"

"I did" said a mysterious voice.

I turned around and it was Jade's mom. Dang, the whole family is here. My family and hers. Inlaws already meeting inlaws.

"Oh...whose kids" I asked her mom.

"Those are my grand kids... My neices kids"

"Oh...I thought that lil girl looked familiar.. Kinda look like Jade"

"Hahaha..anyways.. Happy birthday LJ"

"Thanks Jennifer"

"No problem Sweetheart"

Honestly this by far the best birthday. In speaking of birthday, I didn't even remember my own. That's how much stress, Jade has caused. Right now, all I want is to enjoy this night. She planned a great birthday. Even Sean, Jory, Chase and JB were here. I was the only one who didnt know.

"Babe.. When did you get here" I asked.

"Not telling.."

"Why"

"Cause I don't want to"

"Nope... Even with all the whining and adorable faces.. I'm still not telling"
