First Day on the job

During our breakfast, we got to know each other more. Honestly after getting to know him better, I'm not fangirling as much. He's sweet, funny, charming, and handsome! Jade Billings are actually falling for him after what happened this morning? apparently so! I told LJ I can do the dishes while he gets dressed. It's the least I can do since he cooked.

After washing the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen I waited for LJ to come down. But I have to remind him that I have class this afternoon.

When he walked in the living, he looked extremely handsome. He wore a black Hurley cap, white 'say I won't' shirt, dark denim jeans and black square toed boots. He kinda dressed like these models in the NRS magazine! 'please tell me I'm dreaming' I thought.

"Ummm... Jade?" he asked.. I still didn't respond. "Jade? anyone there" he said. Then his lips met mine again. I finally snapped out of it. "woah..ok I'm not dreaming!" I screamed. LJ chuckles.

"Now that your alert. You ready for some fun" he asked. "Yes I am" I said proudly. "What are we doing today" I asked. "we'll I have Ryan and some other guys coming over this evening to ride some practice bulls. I need to do drag the arena and round up the bulls" he said. "ok.. so you need me to bring em in" I asked. "yeah that can work... but I better warn you one of em is a bit feisty. beware" he said. "oh really? like the owner"? I laughed. "you got that right.. alright enough messing around.. we gotta get to work." he says. He smiles as he walks away.

I was gonna ride my horses but LJ insisted I ride one of his. I ended up riding one of his. His horse's name is Jenko! I laugh at the name. He either wanted to be named after a nice and stout horse or he's either a Channing Tatum fan (21 Jump Street)! hahaha.. Anyways I was off to round up some bulls.

My dad had some bulls but they weren't as huge like these guys. They were huge and healthy as they can be. I started rounding em up, when I saw a calf being born. I hurried up and chased em bulls in the pen. Rushed backed to the cow that was giving birth. To me, she looked like she was having trouble. I tied up Jenko to the tree and rushed to help. I kept her calm and when I lifted her tail I seen the head come out. She kept pushing and pushing till this little calf was full out. When the calf was fully out, the sack didn't open so I had to. Once the sack opened all the water flushed. This was a nice calf. It was a little bull. He had the cutest nose ever. I got up and walked back to the horse, so the cow and her calf can be left alone. I was about to leave when I saw the calf trying to get up. Then I realized he was having trouble. I gave a little hand. Helped him stand on all fours and started walking.

*LJ's POV*

I was done dragging the arena. I saw the bulls were already pinned up. I went to go look for her. I saw her in the meadow. It looked like she was helping a calf. Wow! I didn't even know one of my cows were pregnant. I walked over to her. She told me everything. Since Jade helped out this calf I decided she could name him. she said she'll think of a name. Jade went back to the barn to unsaddle the horse. She had classes to attend to. I told her the boys will be coming around seven and she said she should be back by then. Could I honestly be falling for this girl this quick? Dam she drives a nice truck. Nice dodge for a beautiful girl!

*Jade's POV*

It felt good helping that calf. I told LJ I had to leave for school. I hurried up and change my clothes, kinda clean up a bit. Within ten minutes I was out the door and off to school.

"Hey Jade. How's the ranch life with Larry" Cody said. "Hey Cody... it's better than staying in a dorm" I said. "I bet. Tyler & I miss your crazy ass" Cody said. "Im only fifteen minutes away from school" I said. "but still practice sucks without you. anyway when will I get to meet Larry" "I have no idea". "Sorry Cody I better get going I have class in ten minutes.. it's good seeing you" I said quickly. "Later". I was off to my human antimony class. I got there in time. I sat there bored and took notes. I still had LJ on my mind. Before I knew it class was over. I had a fifteen minute break before my math. I called LJ if he needed anything from town.
