Calgary/ LJ's POV

I arrived in Calgary! It was bright and sunny day today. I hate to leave Jade behind. In speaking of Jade I haven't heard from her. When I got to the room I tried calling and texting but no response. 'Yep, she got the note' I said to myself.

Great! Now I'm gonna have a shitty week. I don't have to ride till tomorrow afternoon. I dropped my bags off and walked out the room. I met Sean at the lobby.

"Hey pard" Sean said.

"Hey bud"

"Where's Jade"

"Wyoming... College finals"

"Why aren't you over there"

"Cause Harv and I switched spots. I wasn't suppose to ride till next week. Harv couldn't make it this weekend. He called me and asked if we can switch. I agreed "

"LJ... Rodeo girls are different breed! More like a special breed. You have to be there all the time. Regardless of what. I knew you enjoy riding bulls for living but your dating a special breed. Right now she needs you."

"But I've checked in and my bags are back at the room"

"And you just left her out of the picture" he said.

"Shit"

"My point exactly! Has she called? does she know your here?"

"Nope and yes she does I think"

"Larry! Just simply call her. Ask her how the finals went and all that other stuff you two talk about"

"I've tried! she didn't pick up or respond"

"Did you even talk to her in person before you left"

"Well I was there throughout the whole thing. The only round I'm missing out on is the short round"

"Seriously? you left on the important night"

"Bad timing I guess."

"Well wishing you the best bud. See ya tomorrow"

"Alright"

What did I get myself into? Geez I need a beer or a shot! I got a lot on my mind. I've tried calling again but no answer. I'm getting a little worried. I don't know if she IS gonna be here. I'm just gonna keep calling till she picks up.

~fifty calls later~

Nope still no answer. I'm sittin here at the bar and having a beer. All I have on my mind is Jade. I left her fifty voicemails and if I call and leave another voicemail, her voicemail will be full. I decided to text her. I kept sending messages left and right. I probably sent like eighty or so text messages. Ha! there goes my phone bill!

I sat their until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked and its Christen! Oh great! I turned around and gave a fake smile.

"Mind if I take a seat" she asked.

"Not at all" I said and turned around before she spoke.

I slammed the rest of my beer. I looked at the pictures of Jade and I. I feel like I broke her heart. Here I am drinking myself to shame! Not the way I wanna start out Calgary. 'Some choice I made' I thought to myself.

I felt my phone vibrate and I hoped it was Jade but it was Cody. He sent me pix of Jade. She stood there with a smile and holding four buckles. Wait! Four?

'Nice going LJ! The one night your away she makes a big accomplishment and you missed it' I said to myself!

I looked at the pix and felt a guilt build up. I missed out this time! I'm glad she got what she deserved! She's been working hard to get where she's at. Man, that smile can bring me back to life. I sat there staring and at the corner of my eye I saw Christen take a glimpse at me.

"Yes Christen" I asked with a annoyed voice.

"Where's that girlfriend of yours"

"Really? that's all you have to say"

"I'm just curious"

"Curious of what? that I made the dumbest decision of my life. That I completely left her in Wyoming and decided to fill in for someone. Instead of being with her and supporting her. Which one you like to talk about Christen"

"What the hell are you doing jumping down my throat like that! I just simply asked for your girlfriend"

"Well now you know. Excuse me I need to head back to my room" I said and walked off.

I got my room and not only that I was drunk off my ass! I laid there on the bed. Thinking about Jade, how much she means the world to me. Also figuring out how I'm gonna make it up to her. I finally got up and texted Cody.

'Hey where's Jade... I'm trying to call her'

'Hey... I think she's at the room... Tyler and I are gettin something to eat'

'Oh.. Ok thanks'

'Why? what's up'

'Oh nothing really. I'm just trying to get ahold of her is all'

'Alright... If I see her i'll let you know'

'Thanks bud'

'No problem'

I'm surprise he didnt ask were I was. Unless Jade told em. Am I seriously gonna have another sleepless night? Afraid so, I turned on the TV and watched PBR. Surprisingly I changed it just on time. I was bout to ride and that's when I pulled me groin. I sat on my bed watching the last of it. I logged onto my Facebook. To let my fans know that I'll be riding in Calgary. Then I switched back to my normal account. I saw Jade was online. I messaged her. Once I did, she logged off. Now I get the cold shoulder. I continued to scroll down the newsfeed and I saw pix of Jade. Pix of her at the finals. Also read she was the first to win a triple crown. Wow! Im such a dick for leaving the way I did. I could've waited till it was all over or wait till tomorrow mornin for the next flight out. But no, I completely left her like a complete asshole! I found a video of her roping and her interview. I clicked play and saw how great she roped tonight. I saw her interview, I miss her voice and smile! I want her right here in my arms and never let go.

I downloaded her videos on my phone. I saved em. As it was downloading I got a call from Cody.

"Hello"

"LJ, Jade is not in the room" he sounded worried.

"What?! what do you mean she's not in the room"

"I went to the room and walked in, but I didn't see her... I've tried calling but nothing"

"You serious... Ill see if I can find her ok"

"Alright... When you find out..you let me know.."

"Ok"

Where did she go? Who was she with? I need to find her!
