Background

LJ and I didn't get home till a little after midnight. We talked and laughed, being our normal selves. He told me his side of things. I enjoy having these kind of talks with him.

"Good morning Jay bear" he said in a sleepy voice.

"Morning" I said and gave him a smile.

I laid there thinking about last night. All these memories kept flooding back in a instant second. Ill have a smile and then the next ill have a sad feeling. With him by my side, it gave me a sense of comfort.

I wanted to get out of bed but LJ over here has me pinned. His arm wrapped around me, like I'm his teddy bear. I wiggled and wiggled but no use. I laid there and hoped he let me go. I really need to go!

"Babe.. Please I need to use the bathroom" I begged.

"No! your laying right here"

"Babe.. Please!!! I can't hold it"

"Only if I use it first"

"O... no! I got first"

"Not if I beat you there"

"Ugh! please... I really, really, really need to go"

Then he finally let go. I rushed to the restroom. After I got done, I walked out and there was no one in sight. Not my sister, the boys, or my parents. I look outside and all the vehicles are gone except for my truck. I saw a note on the counter.

'Good morning sweetheart... We went to Albuquerque for the weekend... Be back till Sunday. See you Sunday Jade. Love the fam bam'

Well I guess it's only LJ and I here for the weekend. Which I don't mind at all. I went back to my room and laid back down. LJ was still laying there, playing with my iPad. I curled up in a ball next to him.

"Babe?" he asked.

"Yeah?"

"Where's everyone"

"Out of town for the weekend"

"What?.. Where did they go"

"Albuquerque"

"Ah! the place to ourselves"

"Indeed.. What should we do today"

"Lets go riding.. Show me your world"

"Ok.."

We both got up. While he was gettin ready, I started on breakfast. I cooked eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and pancakes. By the time he was done getting ready, breakfast was ready.

"Mmmm... Smells good" he said.

"Yeah... Well while you eat.. I'm gonna go get ready"

"Ok babe"

I went to my room and picked out my outfit. I walked into the restroom for my shower. After a good ten minute shower, I was done. Got dressed and put my hair in a pony tail.

I walked back to the kitchen and LJ was washing dishes. He made a plate for me. I sat down and ate. I put my plate in the sink.

"You ready" I asked.

"Yep"

We walked to the barn and saddled up. We grabbed Banker and Slick this time. I haven't rode these boys in a long time. LJ rode Banker and I rode Slick. They are so out of shape.

"Where to Jade" he asked.

"Uh! I guess we can go out in the pasture"

"Alright"
