School

I was tired the next day. I had my first class at noon. I was dreading for this day to go by fast. I normally get up 630 but this time I didn't have the strength to get up this early.

As the morning pasted I was finally off to my first class. I had human anatomy. I was lil bit of excited to attend class but the other part of me wasn't up for it. I had to keep pushing myself.

I got to my first class and my professor was a woman. Who is teaching this course. I read the board it said Ms. Pozzi. She was very pretty. Had shoulder length dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Nice make up and she was basically dressed like me. Long v neck sleeved shirt, dark denim jeans and square toed boots. I think' hmmm.. She don't look much of a roper, so she's gotta be a barrel racer.' As students start to come in, most of the guys were checking her out. Once it was time for class she introduced herself.

" Hi everyone. My name is Brittany Pozzi. I am your instructor for this semester. I am handing out your syllablis for this semester. Since today is the first day of classes well for me it is, we won't start our lecture today until this Thursday. As for now why won't you introduce yourselves."

She chose me first. I stand up and introduce myself " hey everyone. My name is Jade. I am 21 yrs. old I'm going to school for athletic training in the bachelors program and I'm also on the rodeo team. I've brought my two best horses with me Stark and Chancey. My favorite type of music is basically anything. And that's all for now".

"B: Jade if you don't mind me asking. What kind of event do you take place in?
J: Oh I rope. So I rope calves and steers"
B: "Oh I see. How old are your horses?!"
J: "Stark is my 8 yr old head horse and Chancey is my 10 yr old calf horse"
B: "Nice. I actually rodeo too. Maybe we can travel to a rodeo sometime."
J:"Yeah sure. What do you do?"
B: "I run barrels"
J: "nice. yeah we should I don't mind"
B: "alright it's settle then"

As the hour past, class was already over. Brittany gave me her phone number so I can let her know what my schedule is like. She seems like a cool person to hang out with. I still have a hour left before my next class. I decided to stop by Cody and Tyler's dorm.

*C=Cody, J=Jade*
C: "Hey Jade did you hear about the new human anatomy instructor. I heard she's a beauty"
J: "I've heard. What's the instructors name"
C: "Professor Pozzi. Brittany Pozzi"
J: "No way. She's my instructor I just got out of her class just now"
C: "well aren't you a lucky son of a gun. Please tell me what she's like"
J: "Cody I am not gonna have you drooling over my instructor"
C: "Come on Jade. Please. just give me one detail"
J: "alright. She's a barrel racer"
C: "oh snap. I gotta catch a glimpse at this pretty pistol "
J: "hey.. not gonna happen!"
C: "Oh I will. She can't resist this charming cowboy"
J: "oh Cody. You wish your a charmer. Well I gotta go. I have math in 20 mins."
C: " I don't need to wish. I'm already a charmer! Haha. Alright see you later"

I looked at my schedule to see who was my next instructor. It says Professor Kollin VonAhn. 'Hmm.. Name sounds familiar' I thought. I walk into my class and I saw the instructor. He was handsome. He caught my eye. Had me dreaming for a moment. He kept writing on the board while I was taking out my binder. Then students started to come in. Every girl that was in my class couldn't take their eyes off of him.

Once class has started, Mr. VonAhn introduce himself. " hello everyone. My name is Kollin VonAhn. I will be your trigonometry intructor. I will be handing out the syllabus in a few minutes. In the meantime why don't you all introduce yourself"

After a few students introduce themselves I didn't realize it was my turn. Until Kollin cleared his throat. I finally snapped out of my dream.

"What?!... oh yeah right. Umm. My name is Jade. I'm 21 yrs old! My major is athletic training and On my free time I hang out with my friends and we go roping".

*K=Kollin, J=Jade*
K: "what exactly do you do?"
J: " I rope"
K: " oh yeah. Calves or steers"?
J: " both"
K: "cool. head or heel"?
J: " lil bit of both.. but I brought my head horse with me"
K: " maybe you can spin a few at my place"
J: "uhh... sure. just let me know when"
K: "II'll get back to you on that"

After math class I was finally done for the day. I'm so happy that I only have to take 2 classes this semester because the other 2 classes i needed were full.. and so was everything else.

After my classes I decided to hit up the gym. I grabbed my gym bag and my earphones. I was walking towards the gym when I came across a 'in need of a ranch hand' flyer. I jot down the number and saved it into my phone.. I could use a lil bit of extra cash.

After my hour and half workout, I decided to call this number. To see where is this place at? And who is doing the hiring. I wouldn't mind doing ranch work. I miss my dads ranch back at home. It was in New Mexico.

So I called and I introduce myself. The guy's name is Larry. He told me what type of person should fit the job. He basically described what I did back home. Clean the pins, drag the arena, herd cattle, feed em and etc. He told me to meet him at his place tomorrow at 9 am. I agreed and after that we both hung up the phone.

I came back to my dorm, grabbed myself some sweats and a t-shirt. I went to take a hot shower, so I can have a relaxing evening.

After my shower I found a note on my door. It was a note from Kollin. It had a small message along with his phone number.

Hey Jade,
I just wanted to know if your still up for a lil bit of roping this weekend. If so, here's my number 580-555-0661
-Kollin-

How in the heck did he know where my dorm is at? Should I take him up on that offer? It wouldn't hurt right? It's only practice and beside I'm tired of roping the same cattle. so I guess I'll be roping at Kollin's this weekend. I'll him right now.

To Kollin: Hey this is Jade. Yeah I don't mind roping at your place this weekend. Is it gonna be practice only or you gonna have a small jackpot?

From Kollin: Hey there. Sounds great. I was thinking a small jackpot. I've got a couple of my buddies coming over. and feel free to invite your friends as well.

To Kollin: Alright.... cool. I'll let them know. Till then I shall see you Thursday.

From Kollin: Ok. See you in class Thursday. Enjoy the rest of your night.

To Kollin: Likewise Mr. VonAhn!

Well looks like my weekend is planned out. And so looking forward to it. I'm tired from this long day. Time to call it night. I fell asleep in no time.
