Meet and Greet

~Jade's POV~

I arrived back at LJ's place. I can't believe LJ Jenkins is my neighbor and I'll be his ranch hand. My horses will be with me 24/7 and I don't have to drive to see em. They are just outside my door.

After settling down, I heard a knock at the door. I checked it and behold. Its LJ! I welcomed him in and offered something but he refused my offer. I told him I'll be back in a bit. Because I was having my fangirl moment again. 'you can do this Jade he's just guy next door.... calm yourself' try to calm myself down.

I walked back out and realized he was lookin at my screen saver on my laptop. My screensaver was the pictures I had on my laptop. I hope none of his pictures pop. 'Please laptop don't embarrass me' Jade thought. I broke the silence when I cleared my throat. Right when LJ turned around his picture came up. I couldn't be more relieved that he didn't see his picture.

J: So uh,.... what did you need to talk to me about?

L: Oh... I was wondering if you don't mind coming over tonight for dinner. I'd like for you to meet someone.

J: Sure... what time?

L: about 7?

J: yeah that'll work.

L: ok.. I shall see you tonight.

After their little conversation LJ excused himself.

'Oh my god, he asked me to dinner' I told myself. But crap what should I wear. My casual look or dress up? It's 4 in the afternoon I still got three hours to get ready. But first I better jump in the shower. I probably smell like horse and cardboard boxes! Haha... (From moving in)

~LJ's POV~

Oh man this girl is something else. She is not like any other girl I've met. She's smart, beautiful, charming, curvy, nice smile and I can't get over them beautiful brown eyes. She's a few years younger than me but as long as she's over the age of eighteen I'm alright with it. Now that I've asked her to dinner what shall I make? Steak? Pasta? dam why is it so difficult to cook for a girl. Maybe because they are going vegetarians these days. Honestly I kinda like a girl with a heavy apatite. well I guess i'll cook shrimp and steak.

~Jade's POV~

I needed that hot shower after a long day like this. I was relaxed and now I needed to pick an outfit. I should just go with a cowgirl tuff t-shirt, my 'miss me' jeans, brown square toed boots. Dry my hair and straighten it out. Now I need to pick out the jewelry. lets go with my rhinestone belt, turquoise cross necklace and my Montana silversmith earrings. I did some touch up on my make up. Checked the mirror and I was surprised how well I dressed myself tonight. ha.

It was six forty-five by the time I was done getting ready. So I decided to log onto my Facebook and check it. it says I have one friend request. "Jenkins Cattle would like to be your friend" so I accepted it. I was strolling down my newsfeed and I seen that a girl tagged my new friend. I looked at the picture. It was LJ and he was standing next to some girl. Wait! Is this the person that he wanted me to meet? *gasp* he has a girlfriend. 'I hope I don't ruin their relationship, while I'm workin here' I thought. 'Awh hell... I'm no dam home wrecker. who am I kidding. I came to work for him' I thought.

Before I left, I checked my phone. I had five text messages. Wow someone misses me. hahaha.. One was from Cody, Tyler, my sister, my mom, and some random number. I only responded to my sister and my mom. My two brothers can wait. off I went to LJ's house.

I knocked on the door. LJ answers the door with a smile in his face. I'm thinkin' he likes my outfit. After 5 mins. of staring he finally snapped out of his trance. "Oh.. hey Jade" LJ said. "Hey LJ" I said. "Oh right... Come on in. Dinner should be done in a few minutes" says LJ. "Ok.. that's fine. Mind if I look at your show case and pictures"? I asked. "Sure.... no problem" LJ says.
