Proud of the work she accomplished tonight, Hanji finally managed to clean up the whole area. She looked up at the night sky, breathing in the dark air that smelt of fireworks. Smiling to herself, she reminisced back to when she was a small child. Since the age of four, Hanji has always been so fascinated with the things around her, curious to how this this mysterious world worked. There was just so many questions that have yet been answered. Most would deny this fact, but at one point, Hanji was once the type of person who was silent like a statue, making her way unnoticed in life. She'd spend hours in the library, avoid eye contact with those around her as she buried herself in the world of physics and biology. It wasn't until she spent some years in the military when the true Hanji came out. People noticed that something snapped when Hanji suddenly let out a loud cackle during on her overnight shifts in the labs. Her passion in science only increased, up to the point where she would find ways to experiment on people. Science was the only thing that mattered to her, and she was willing to do great things with it.

It was after one of her deployments when her interest in music sparked. At first, she just wanted to study the science behind it but then realized how much she truly enjoyed it. Despite being one of the greatest soldiers, Hanji retired to pursue her career. However, science will always be her number one.

Because science can explain everything.

After what seemed like a long time, Hanji finally snapped out of her thoughts when something zoomed past her, causing a wave of snow to collapse down on her, covering the brunette from head to toe. She yelped.

"Heads up!" Said a familiar voice who just so happened to be the one and only modern greaser.

Hanji brushed off the cold material from her clothes and just when one would think Hanji was about to lunge after the greaser, she instead began to cackle and said, "Wow, you finally got me!"

Reese laughed and held up a rock n roll sign with one hand while holding his snowboard with the other. "But hey, I actually came here to tell you something, if of course, you're interested in a bit of gossip."

This made Hanji's eyes light up like a Christmas tree. "Ohhh~gossip, huh?? Oh you have to tell me! Let me hear it! Is it juicy?" Hanji actually began to drool from the excess delight. "Because I loooove juicy gossip!"

With a smirk, Reese crossed his arms. "Settle down there, my dear egghead, I'll tell you... as long as you can catch up, of course."

"Huh?"

The modern greaser flashed a toothy grin as white as snow. "See you back at the hangout!" With that, Reese hopped on his snowboard and sped off in the distance. Hanji let out a hysterical shriek as she threw a mini temper tantrum.

"Y-You turd! That's not fair!" Hanji then grabbed her own board and sped off chasing after Reese, where nothing was heard other than the echoes of whoops and hollers.

"Shouldn't they be here by now?" Levi asked wiping off the coffee tables in the center of the living room. Not only were they filthy, but he really needed something to kill the time in hope he could maintain his patience.
