It wasn't long before Jirou had finished talking to everyone. He walked into the room with Michio, who was the last one to go, and looked around at everyone quietly.
"So, is anyone else here fucked in the head?" Natsumi asked bluntly.
Jirou hesitated for a moment. "I wouldn't say it like that... and with just one conversation I can't be sure, but..."
"There's a new area here, right? Let's go check it out before it gets too dark." Michio interrupted. There were a few nods and muttered agreements, and Jirou let out a small sigh.
"Okay, yeah, it can wait."
Everyone started getting up, and I slowly got up myself. I wasn't in the mood to be exploring, but if we were going to find any means of escape this would be the only way.
"Hey Kazuki, explore with me!" Satchiko exclaimed cheerfully.
I hesitated for a moment, before giving in. "Alright."
Satchiko grinned, grabbing my wrist and dragging me out of the room. I stumbled, trying to keep up. She was fast. Once we were out of the restaurant, she let go, and flashed me an apologetic look.
"Sorry, I'm just excited to see what's new!" Satchiko exclaimed. "Let's go!"

The electric fence was gone.
Not all of it, of course, but a street past the mall that was formerly blocked off was now open. The look of excitement on Satchiko's face grew, and I couldn't help let a small smile appear on mine.
"C'mon Kazuki!" She said, running into the new area. I jogged behind to keep sight of her, and we arrived at the first building.
We walked inside, and I immediately recognized the building as an arcade. There were retro games set up everywhere, along with air hockey, prize machines, and a snack bar.
Satchiko was grinning, "an arcade! I missed these!" She looked around, letting out a small gasp. "They have everything!"
"Remember, we're still just seeing what's here right now." I pointed out, hoping she wouldn't abandon me for games.
The ultimate lucky student nodded. "I know~ this just means I won't be sleeping tonight!"
We left the arcade, and crossed the street to the next building. From the outside I could already tell that it was some kind of restaurant. It felt odd, walking into an empty restaurant, but of course this part of the city was abandoned as well.
Michio approached us from the back of the building, a welcoming smile on his face. "Hey, this place looks cool, but there's not much that'll be useful."
"Makes sense, I mean it is just a restaurant." I responded.
"Yeah." Michio let out a sigh. "I just wish there was some way to escape..."
"We'll find a way! I know it!" Satchiko stated, "we can't just give up!"
"You're right, Satchiko. So, let's check out the rest of this place." The guitar player replied.
Down the rest of the street were some apartment buildings and a playground. That was about it. We didn't find any means of escape, but I really wasn't surprised. Of course, Monokuma wouldn't just leave something like that for us to easily find.
Defeated, we headed back to the hotel. I was desperate to get away from everyone again, and be alone in my room. If only you were here, Momo....
