I slowly opened my eyes, expecting to see my bedroom, being disappointed that me attending Hope's Peak Academy had all been a dream. But I wasn't in my bedroom, and it surely wasn't a dream.

I was seated on a cushioned chair in what appeared to be a hotel lobby. My eyes widened and I quickly sat up, looking around to see a bunch of people I never met before. They looked to be about my age, and were all just starting to wake up as well.

One by one, they started to panic.

"W-where are we?!"

"Is this some sort of sick joke?!"

"This isn't Hope's Peak!"

"Everyone, quiet down!" Shouted a boy with neat silver hair and glasses, he had on a blue sweater and jeans, and his appearance resembled that of your average high school student. Soon, everyone stopped talking, and turned their attention to him. "Panicking won't solve our problem, we should all just introduce ourselves then talk about this calmly."

"Introduce ourselves?" Questioned a boy with short brown hair. "We have much bigger problems than how well we know each other!"

"We should at least know each other's names before tackling the bigger issue here." The silver haired boy responded, but his voice was soft and reassuring. Somehow, just listening to him made me a little less tense. "I'll start. I'm Jirou Takahashi, the ultimate therapist."

Jirou nodded to the boy who interrupted him, and he let out a sigh of defeat before speaking. "I'm Akio Ikeda, ultimate skateboarder."

Next, a girl with long, messy orange hair and hand knitted purple sweater spoke. "I'm Kaiya Minami, the ultimate cat lady... though I prefer cat caretaker."

Since no one was going next, I decided to speak up. "I'm Kazuki Nozomi, the ultimate author."

"I'm Momo Fujikawa," said a short girl with long pink hair in pigtails and a small white dress. "I'm the ultimate voice actress. It's really nice to meet you all, I hope we can be friends!" She smiled a bright, adorable smile.

I stared at her in shock- I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a big fan of her, and would watch shows for the sole reason she was part of the cast. I had no idea she would be attending Hope's Peak with me.

The next person speaking pulled me from my trance. "I-I'm Riku Hanazawa... t-the ultimate manga artist..." A short boy with blue hair, glasses, and an oversized hoodie said.

A girl with short brown hair and a snake around her neck was the next to speak. "I'm Willow White, the ultimate snake breeder." She had an odd accent and name, and spoke again after getting a few weird looks. "I'm from America."

"I'm Michio Zetami, ultimate guitar player!" A boy with messy blond hair and a charming smile stated.

A sporty looking girl with curly brown hair in a ponytail and large... proportions, stepped forward. "Mai Akiyama, ultimate soccer player! Hell yeah!"

A girl with a black hoodie and boots, a grey skirt, and a dark grey bandana covering her mouth and nose went next. Her long black hair was covering her right eye, making it so almost her whole face was covered. "I'm the ultimate assassin... you can call me Jikkō, I suppose."

I could feel an aura of mystery surrounding this girl, and made a mental note to never let myself be alone with her.

"I'm Haru Miyamoto, the ultimate director." A boy with neat black hair and piercing yellow eyes stated.

"Ichiro Nakahara's the name! I'm the ultimate cyclist!" Exclaimed a boy with short, messy red hair and brown eyes filled with excitement.

Next a boy with magenta hair and a short sleeved button up shirt spoke. "I'm Katashi Oshiro, the ultimate pianist."

"I'm Orochi Sato, you better remember it!" A boy with dirty blond hair and baggy jeans said obnoxiously loud. Already I couldn't stand him. "I'm the ultimate engineer!"

A girl with long blonde hair in a ponytail with a brown leather jacket stepped forward. "I'm Natsumi Kato, ultimate journalist."

Everyone looked to the last girl who didn't speak yet. She had light strawberry blonde hair and a childish pink and grey hoodie with cat ears on the hood and paw prints over the pockets. "Oh, is it my turn?" She asked no one in particular before continuing. "Well, I'm Satchiko Kobayashi... I don't really have much of a talent, I'm just lucky!"

"Now that we all know each other's names... does anyone have any idea where we could be?" Jirou asked, looking around to each person.

"It appears to be some sort of high class hotel." Jikkō stated. "It reminds me of where rich people would stay while on vacation."

"But we're supposed to be at Hope's Peak!" Orochi exclaimed.

"Well, we're not." I butt in.

Everyone went silent as a strange sound filled the air around us. It sounded like nothing at first, then warped into a silly, yet disturbing laugh.

"Upupupu~!"
