I couldn't move, couldn't speak. I was still in shock, but when Satchiko spoke I felt a rush of confusion and curiosity.
"Kazuki, Satchiko, are you guys okay?" Katashi asked, who was now standing close to us. I didn't even notice Kaiya and Katashi come, but at the moment I didn't care.
"Who did what...?" I hesitantly asked Satchiko.
"He... no, she..." Satchiko shook her head. "No, no, there was t-two of them... so full of despair...."
The strawberry blonde stumbled forward a bit, and I quickly steadied her by placing my hands on her shoulders. "It has something to do with us... right?"
She gave a small nod. "M-memories... That's right, t-they took our memories... we already went to Hope's Peak, we-"
She was quickly cut off by Monokuma showing up in front of them. "Stop! You're going to spoil everything before enough people die!"
Satchiko glared at the bear with a hateful expression I had never seen her hold. "I saw it. I saw what happened, I know what you did, I know-"
"C'mon, you weren't supposed to remember that bit! Don't ruin it for everyone!" Monokuma butted in once more. "Although... you don't know everything, so I guess all you do know wouldn't ruin much..."
"You stole our school memories! Precious moments of our lives are gone now because of you!" Satchiko blurted out. "If only I knew who was controlling you...."
I felt as if the world was crumbling around me. This couldn't be right... Our memories were stolen?
I could only hope that it was a lie, or a trick, but the way things were going I doubted that was the case.

A day had passed, and I was still unsure of what to feel about this. As I walked along the deserted road, trying to clear my head, a voice broke through the silence.
"Hey Kazuki, what's up?" I stopped, looking back to see Haru approaching me.
"Oh, not much, I was just taking a walk..." I sheepishly replied.
Haru nodded, and I couldn't help but notice he appeared slightly worried. "Well, I was just heading over to the restaurant. Jirou said he was going to meet Orochi there, and he doesn't seem like the type of guy you could trust."
"Okay, well, be careful." I replied.
Haru went off, jogging in the direction of the new area. I continued my walk, and after a few minutes I headed towards the restaurant as well out of pure curiosity.
On my way, I heard a loud crash, and hurried over at a faster pace. Hesitantly, I pushed open the front door.
The entrance was empty, but I heard what sounded like sobbing from around the corner. I made my way towards the sound, and as soon as the scene entered my vision I couldn't hold back a gasp.
Leaning against the bar was Orochi, fresh blood seeping down from the back of his head. A bar stool was knocked over, and I hoped that this wasn't real, that I was dreaming. Did someone... kill again?
My eyes traveled to where Haru was kneeling on the ground, tears streaming down his face. However, he wasn't near Orochi, and from where I was standing I could make out.... another body?!
I stepped closer to meet the cold dead gaze of Jirou Takahashi. I stumbled backwards. I wanted to say something, anything, but no words could come out.
Two people were murdered.
