A day had passed, and by now, everyone had seen the new area. It was agreed that any information discovered about the mastermind would be shared there.
It was morning, about an hour after Monokuma's announcement, and I was seated in the hotel lobby, Satchiko next to me with Cinder on her lap. The cat was sleeping as the strawberry blonde pet her.
Out of nowhere, the monitors turned on, showing Monokuma. "Everyone come meet in the hotel lobby! I have a special surprise for you all, upupu~"
Fear creeped over me at his words, knowing that this surprise wouldn't be anything good. Satchiko and I waited in painful silence for the others to arrive, and it didn't take long for everyone to gather.
Once we were all there, Monokuma entered the room holding up nine envelopes. He looked around once to make sure everyone was there before speaking.
"I know it hasn't been long since the last class trial, but already I'm starting to get bored. So, here I have your new motives!" The bear explained. "In these envelopes are written the worst things you've ever done, and if no one dies in the next few days, I'll reveal them to the world!"
"Th-that's a little extreme, don't you think?" Riku said, playing with the bottom of his sweater.
"It has to be extreme if I want you to kill someone!" Monokuma responded. "Well, here ya go, have fun~" he passed out the envelopes to everyone before leaving.
I hesitantly opened mine, taking out the folded piece of paper inside and opening it up. As my eyes scanned over the words, I felt shocked but guilty at the same time. How would he know about this?
I looked up to see Michio staring at his paper in surprise, his hands shaking. "He wouldn't... he wouldn't t-tell everyone about this...."
"How'd he get this information?! What the fuck?!" Natsumi exclaimed. "No one should know about this!"
"L-let's just calm down and think about this..." Mai said, though she herself appeared scared. "We should all just... just tell each other about what we did before the mastermind can twist it to sound worse than it really is... we all make mistakes...."
Everyone was silent, until Willow spoke up. "You're right, Mai. But everyone should have some time to think about what to say, there could be some serious stuff here."
The soccer player nodded. "Yeah, good idea. So... tomorrow morning?" She asked.
I slowly nodded, and so did Willow, Katashi, Riku, and Satchiko. After a few seconds, Jikkō agreed as well. There was just Michio and Natsumi left.
"I mean..." Michio started, "if we know what everyone did there'd be no reason to kill... but..." He was quiet for a moment, looking like he was thinking it over. "Alright, I guess I can explain...."
"Me too, at least we get the night to think about it." Natsumi agreed, but hesitantly.
I understood how they felt, I wasn't too eager to share my motive either, but to prevent further deaths, it had to be done.

As I laid alone in my room, I looked at my motive again, reading it over once more.
Cheated on Aimi.
How was I going to explain this?
