Chapter 1

" Hayley I have to speak to you. Chad said in a serious tone.

" Ok. " I said as I sat down next to him

" I can't do this anymore " he said as he looked into my eyes

" Do what." I asked confused

" Us hayley I can't do us anymore " he replied

" So your breaking up with me after 5 years of being together " I asked as tears stung the back of my eyes


" Yes " he said with not emotion at all. I got up from the couch and walked out the house slamming the door behind me. I didn't know where I was going. I just didn't want to be in the same house as chad. I walked in the dark with no cars. No people just me.


I found my self standing outside Taylor's house. all the lights where on so I knocked on his door. he answered with a smile but it soon disappeared. he pulled me into a hug and closed the door behind him


" Hayles are you ok " he asked concerned once he stopped hugging me. I shook my head and he pulled me back into a hug.



I got out of his hold and looked up at him " chad left me " I sobbed


" Why " he asked as he walked me into his living room


" I..i don't know he just said he couldn't do it anymore " I said as I sat down on his couch

" Is that all he said he couldn't even give you a reason " he said angrily


" Taylor please don't get angry he isn't worth it " I said trying to calm Taylor down but it wasn't working


" How dare he tell my best friend he can do it anymore. who the fuck does he think he is, people would die to be in his shoes " he said angrily clenching his fits. I wanted to calm him down I really did but I knew I couldn't so I just stayed quiet. Taylor looked me in the eyes and calmed down. " I'm sorry hayles he just makes me angry doing that to you " Taylor said as he pulled me close. I rested my head on his shoulder and looked at the his fireplace. there was a picture of me, Jeremy and Taylor sitting right in the middle. that was when we where on the red carpet and I had my pink hair. I smiled just remembering that day. Next to it was another picture of me and Jeremy. I was on Jeremy's back outside the tour bus on our last tour. the other picture was a picture of Taylor and his brothers.


" Do you want to stay here tonight ? Taylor asked and I nodded my head. I'll set the guest bedroom up for you and give you a pair of my shorts and a T-shirt. " He said and then got up and went away up stairs. I walked into his kitchen and went tot he fridge and took a bottle of water.


I don't know why I came to Taylor's, I just ended up here. I couldn't go to Jeremy's because kat was pregnant and I wouldn't want to disturb her. I could have went to my moms but then she would wanted to talk about it all and I wasn't up for that .


" The beds ready " Taylor said bringing me out of my thoughts


" Thank you Taylor I really appreciate it. good night " I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek before going up to bed. I got changed into Taylor's shorts and t shirt which where too big for me but the had to do. I climbed Into the bed and turned of the side light. I closed my eyes and fell straight asleep
