HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY NI!!

"Ni" I whispered, grin on my face as I lightly shook his arm.
"Baby, wake up" I continued, giggling once I heard a deep groan slip past his lips.
"Yeah princess?" He asked, while stretching out his limbs that were tangled with mine. He turned his head to look at me, and I had to stifle a laugh looking at his hair. I reached up to push it back from his forehead, planting a kiss their easily from our close bodies.
"I wanted to be the first to say happy birthday" I mumbled, blush forming on my cheeks as Niall's lips turned up into a grin.
"You're adorable" he sighed, shifting his body to face me. He wrapped his arm around my waist, bringing me in even closer to him. I lifted my head just a bit to look at the clock on Niall's bedside table, noticing the bright red numbers read 12:00 am.
"Happy birthday" I grinned, rolling on top of him to straddle his waist. His arms immediately went to my hips, a cheesy smile on his face as his eyes seemed to twinkle while looking up at me.
"Thank you, my love" he told, fingers pressing into my sides.
"Now, I'm going to say a speech" I giggled, my hands going to his wrists to hold onto him. Niall laughed loudly, nodding as in a way to tell me to continue.
"So you are now 23, and we have known each other for 4 years now. That's crazy to think about, seeing as we were just teenaged when we met. You're growing up on me, and I hate that. But I also can't wait for the future ahead of us. I know we both just recently got engaged, and that was a major milestone in our lives together. Soon we'll be married, and I know we want some little people running around the house. And I honestly can't wait to have that all with you. I know you'll be an amazing dad and husband, but let's wait until another time to have that speech" I giggled, Niall laughing once again. However it wasn't a loud laugh, it was gentle, almost as if he was so focused on me he couldn't focus on anything else. He probably didn't even know he laughed just there. His eyes still held that incredible twinkle to them, shining up at me as I continued to talk.
"You mean so much to me Niall, and I hope I show you how much I love you every single day. You make me feel so loved, happy, beautiful...and I can't thank you enough for that. You're the most amazing person in my life, and it would take hours for me to tell you what I love about you. But, unfortunately we both want to go back to sleep" I chuckled after that, my hands moving up and down his arms that were still on my hips.
"I love coming home to you everyday, whether it be to cook for you or to be held in your arms. And I know we will share this love for each other for the rest of our lives. Um.." I drifted off, looking down to his small tummy that rose and fell with each breath he took
"I just really love you, Niall. Happy birthday" I ended, picking my head up to meet his gaze. His eyes now glosses over as if he was tearing up, he never took his eyes off of mine. He reached a hand up to place some of my fallen hair behind my ear, his thumb then grazing my cheek a few times afterwards. No words needed to be spoken, his gestures were enough. Especially when he gently pushed my head down so my lips meet his, the kiss so passionate and breath taking I literally thought I was floating on cloud nine.
"Words can't even describe how much I love you. God you make a grown man cry" he admitted with a chuckle, wiping both eyes after we pulled away from each other. I laughed at his comment, rolling off of him onto my side of the bed and cuddling back up into his body. We resumed our positions from before;  his arm wrapped around my waist to pull me close. Our legs tangled with each other's, foreheads almost touching as we both got lost in each other's eyes.
"You're in for a treat tomorrow" I grinned, my fingers running through his chest hair.
"Hmm, can't wait" he mumbled into my neck as he nuzzled his face into it. And just like that, we fell asleep in each other's arms
