Chapter 4 The Dream

Y/n POV:

"When did this happen." Ross asked. "I was born with it I guess." I say. I reach for a blanket. "O-Oh here." Ross says. He hands me the blanket. I put it over my arms. "It must be pretty hard living with it." Ross asked. "I'm used to it." I say.

"Just promise me this." Ross says holding my hands. "You don't have to do this on your own. you have me and Adam." Ross says. "Yes but before I didn't have anyone. I-I was so alone for a long time." I start to cry. "Don't cry." Ross says softly.

He whipped my tears with his sleeve. I smile. I put my hand over my tail and turn it into a fist slowly. Then when I'm all dry my tail turns back into legs. I sit up and lean on Ross' shoulder. I drift off to sleep.

Ross' POV:

She turned back into a full person and sat up. Leaning on my shoulder. She smiles and drifts off to sleep. I lean back and fall asleep as well. Dream, I was in the park with y/n sitting on the bench. We both have a ring on. Two kids are in front of us. One has brown wavy hair like me.

The other has y/n/c hair. Is that our kids. I have to be dreaming I thought I was just in Adams living room. Then a gun shot went off. Y/n dropped to the ground. "Ha looks like I won." Jenifer said. "Why did you do that." I yelled. Police cars showed up and Jenifer was caught.

Y/n is in the ambulance. "She's bleeding out." A paramedic said. I started to cry. Is she going to die. I'm at the hospital in the waiting room. "Mr. Washington I'm sorry to say this but your wife is dead." ??? said. I fell on the ground crying. "Y/N." I yell waking up.

She jumps up. "What happened." Y/n asked. "Oh thank god it was just a dream." I pant. I bring her into a hug. "Ross what happened." Y/n asked. "Nightmare." I say. "Its that bad. You gave me a heart a tack." Y/n said. "Don't joke like that." I smile.

"Ross hands where I can see them." Adam said. I let go. "What ever you say boss." I say. "Adam you don't have to be that protective." Alesa said. "Hey its my sister." Adam explains. "And she's my sister-in-law." Alesa smiles. "Ok fine you win." Adam laughs.

I get up and head to the kitchen ware Adam is. Probably making dinner. I get a glass and poor water in it. It starts raining fast. Great looks like I have to ride in the rain. Thunder starts to get really loud. "I better go before it gets really bad." I say putting down the cup in the sink.

"Ok see you at work." Adam says not looking away from the oven. "No." Y/n says. Adam stops and looks at y/n. "He's staying here." Y/n says annoyed. "Why." Adam asked. "Because its raining really badly. I don't want anything to happen to him." Y/n says angrily.

"N-No its fine I do this all the time." I say. "Ware are your keys." Y/n asked. "On the floor next to you." I say. She grabs my keys and put them in her pocket. "Well They're mine know until the morning." Y/n smiles. I look at Adam he looks really mad.

Y/n walks to the kitchen and grabs a cup and fills it with water. She grabs my hand and drags me downstairs. She lets go and puts the cup on the floor. "Watch this." She says. She brings the water up with her hand and it floats. She shapes it like a bunny.

It starts jumping in mid air. "Wow." I laugh. "Cool right." Y/n laughs. Then it turns into little water bubbles and circles around me. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. She pulls it back into the cup. "That was so cool." I say. "Thanks. Not to many people like it." Y/n frowns.

I walk to her and put my hand on her chin. "Well I do and I think its awesome." I say. She looks away. "What's wrong." I ask. "Do you only like me for my power." Y/n asked. "What no I like you for you. Your funny cute energetic and has an adorable dog." I smile. "Bark Bark" Ooshgoon barked.

Y/n was still frowning. "Hey I'm not like those other people that use you just for your power." I smile. "Thanks." Y/n smiled. "There's that adorable smile." I laugh. I moved closer and closer. Until we kissed. Then there was a knock on the door. "Sorry if I'm interrupting something." Adam said.

I jumped away from y/n. "Sorry." I say scratching the back of my head. "Oh stop teasing him Adam he's fine." Y/n said. "Dinners done." Adam said annoyed. "Ok we will be right there." Y/n said. He walked away going upstairs. "I don't think Adam likes me that much." I said nervous.

"Well he will have to get used to it sooner or later." Y/n smiled. We walked back up and ate dinner. Adam just kept glaring at me the whole time. After dinner I helped with the dishes. "Thanks Ross." Alesa smiled. "Ya no problem." I smiled back.

"Don't worry I'll get Adam off your shoulder." Alesa whispered. "Thanks." I whispered back. I waited for y/n to get dressed in PJ's. As she walked up the stairs I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. "Ross eyes where I can see them." Adam said annoyed.

I looked away quick and focused on the TV. Y/n sat right next to me. I wrapped my arm around her and she leaned on me. I can get used to this. "Lets watch a horror movie." Y/n asked. "Ok ya sure witch one." Adam asked. "How about _____." She smiled. Adam put it on and we started to watch it.

There were a few jump scares but I just laughed when y/n jumped. Ooshgoon curled up to her and me the whole time. Then thunder stuck very loudly. The power went off and y/n yelled. "Ahh." Y/n screamed. I got out my phone and turned the flash light on.

"I'll go light some candles." Alesa said getting up. She came back with a bunch of candles and lite them all. placing them in safe spots. It was Ish bright. Y/n got settled  in and fell sleep in my arms. Then I did as well.
