Chapter 35

This chapter consists of talking of self harm and some other things.

Ross's parents house

(Idk if I gave his parents names. So I'm gonna say their names are Steve and Marry. srry)

I stopped the car and saw that Ross and Ruby were sleeping. I hate waking them up. It was about dark and I was driving all day. "Ross psst." I whisperd. "Hmm." Ross groaned.

"We're here." I said. He opened his eyes and yawned. "Ruby's sleeping. I'm gonna help you then get Ruby." I said.

"Yeah OK." Ross nodded. I got out of the car and helped Ross into his wheel chair. Then unbuckled Ruby and set her in his lap. She was still sleeping.

"Do you want me to have the bags becuse of your hand." Ross asked. "No I'm fine." I said. He nodded and started wheeling to the door.

I started walking and the door opened. "Ross how good to see you." Mary said happily. Please dont wake up Ruby. "Your here too." Mary said in a less happy tone.

"Mom be nice to Y/n." Ross said. "Oh dont worry I will." She said. Ross wheeled in the house and I followed. "Your room is where it was when you left." Mary said coldly.

It sounded like he left early. Was it because of me, I hope not. I walked in the room and saw a room I remembered. "Its been forever since I've been in here." I gasped happily.

"Yeah I never changed it." Ross smiled. "Are we there yet." Ruby yawned. "Hey sunshine." Ross smiled. "Hi daddy." Ruby smiled back.

"This your room, when you little." Ruby said. "Yeah I thoughr it was cool when I first saw it." I smiled.

"Mommy." Ruby said happily. "Hey curly Q." I said. Her nickname because of her hair, just like her dads. "I brought some more blankets." Mary said.

She chucked them at me when Ross wasn't looking. "Thanks." I said trying to be kind. "Yep no problem." She said harshly.

Then she left. "You and Ruby can have the bed. I'll have the floor." I sighed. "No I want floor." Ruby demanded. "Its OK sweety. Grandma would like it if I had the floor." I said.

Ruby got out of Ross's lap and plopped on the ground. "Me want floor." Ruby said. "Let's build a fort for her." Ross said. "I was thinking the same thing." I smiled.

"Yay." Ruby yelled. "But we have to be silent so we don't wake up grandpa." I whispered. "OK." Ruby whispered too. We built a fort and Ruby fell asleep.

"You better go change your hand wrap before bed." Ross said. "Oh yeah thats a good idea." I nodded. "I'm gonna change in the bathroom quick." Ross said.

"Do you need help." I asked. "Nah I've done it before in the hospital. I'll be fine." Ross smiled. I nodded and grabbed my wrap. Then headed out to the kitchen.

I turned on the sink and took off the old wrap. "Hello Y/n." Mary said. I jumped at her voice. "Oh god Mary you scared me." I gasped.

"Dont mind me, finish your master peace." She snarled. "What do you mean." I asked. "Cutting your doing it again aren't you." Mary snapped. "Shh my daughter is in the other room." I whispered.

"So you are going it again." She sighed. "No I'm not. I've regretted that for many years." I snapped. "What's that." She asked. "....A cut." I said. Well she's totally not gonna believe me.

Why does she always do this. She walked over and grabbed my wrist looking at the cut. "You really hate Ross and Ruby dont you." Mary said.

She was gripping it harder and harder. I tried yanking my arm free. "S-Stop your hurting me." I asked. "You've done worse." Mary scoffed.

"Admit it you regret your desition and didnt have the abortion." Mary hissed. "No I'd never do that not back then and not now." I said.

I pulled back and she let go. I fell back on my butt. "Liar." She said. I felt tears fall to my chin. I got up and held my wrist over my chest. The back door opened and reveled Ruby.

"Hey Ruby darling give grandma a hug." Mary fake smiled. How is she this cruel. An abortion who would ever think of that.

Ruby walked out and hugged Mary. "Mommy why you on ground." Ruby asked. "I fell, how clumsy of me." I smiled. I whipped my tears and stood up.

"Let's go back to bed. Its really late curly Q." I said. "OK." Ruby said. "Night grandma." Ruby waved. I picked Ruby up and brought her in the room.

Ross was sleeping on the bed. "Go to sleep I just have to say night, night to grandma." I said laying her down. "OK." Ruby nodded.

I walked back in the living room and grabbed my wrap from the sink. "Dont forget to clean up the evidence." Mary sighed. Keep your calm.

Dont let her get to you. Like she did all those years ago. I walked back to the room and shut the door. I set the stuff down and went to the bathroom.

I shut the door locking it and slid down the back of the door. Crying silently in the dark. Why does she always get to me.

I laid down on my side and cried. Sniffling every few minutes. Why did I even come here. Why'd they let me out so early.

"Why." I frowned. I felt like I was gonna be sick. I sat up and crawled to the toilet and vomited.
