Chapter 10 Cheese

Y/n POV:

I got out my book and did a few spells. I made a pool in a corner built with sand and stone. connecting to the River. Good thing there was some chairs and tables done here. I set them up and lay down some cloths for design. "Few that took forever." I mumble.

I walk up the stairs and go in the fridge grabbing the sea food. "Hey need any help." Ross asked. "Yes please. I have to carry this stuff to the basement." I smile. "Ok." Ross nods. He helps carry some stuff. We make it to the basement. "Wow this place looks really cool." Ross gasped.

"Thanks." I chuckled. We set the stuff on the table. "Where should I put this stuff." Ross asked. "Um in there." I say. Pointing to a little water whole. He puts the ingredients in the water. "Wow it feels like nothing." Ross says. "Be careful you could freeze a finger." I command.

"Really." Ross says. He jumps up from the water. "No not really." I laugh. "Your a butt you know that right." Ross chuckled. "Thanks." I smile. "Your the real deal about this aren't you." Ross asked. "Well I would like a child that's not born with scales and skin mixed together." I sigh.

"That can happen." Ross frowned. "Sadly yes. But I know it has only happened once." I say. He didn't look happy. "Hey its going to be ok." I smile. He nods and sighs. "Ok." Ross sighed. "Do you have any sea lavender." I asked. "No-- why would I have that." Ross questioned.

"Right. Got to get used to that. I'll be right back." I chuckled. I head over to the pool. "But first I have to fully cave the...cave." I sigh. "Ok. Um what should I do when your gone." Ross asked. "Um be you go hang out with the guys." I shrug. I jump in and go up to the surface.

Still with my legs. Then I change. "Hey." Someone yelled. I get lower in the water hidden from who ever it was. "Max what are you doing." Ross asked. "Thank god. I thought it was someone else." I gasped. I got up and put my arms over the side. I looked at Max and he looked confused.

"Its ok Max you wanted proof. And I need sea lavender." I sighed. He came over looked in the pool. "So I was wrong. And I'm sorry." Max frowned. "Its ok Ross was the same ish." I chuckle. "Hey I'm standing right here." Ross says. "Ya I know." I laugh. "Ross she's a keeper." Max smiled.

I shake my head and laugh. "Well I have to get going if I want to be back by tomorrow." I sighed. "Wait tomorrow." Ross asked. "Ya Lavender its a long ways away." I sigh. "Ok mind telling me what's happening." Max asked. "I need a special ingredient for some food." I explain.

"What kind of food." Max asked. "I really got to go know so could you please stop asking questions and let me go." I snapped. "Ok fine." Max asked. "Thanks can hand me the bag." I asked. "Ya here." Ross says. He hands me the bag. I check for the potion bottle.

"Please don't move anything." I ask. They nod. "Well see you soon." I smiled. I dove under water and open the whole. I make it past the river and to the sea. (10 Hours later) Deepest part of the sea is so long to get to. I make to the bottom and find lots of it. I grab a lot and leave plenty to regrow.

I make it almost to the surface and see a figure. I stop and look around. "Show yourself." I yell. Then it shows there were Gems all over her tail. I point to the top and swim up. So does she. I gasp for air. "Y/n I'm sorry you had to figure this out here. And happy to see you." Cheese frowned. "I never knew. I thought a half born could find sense another half born." I question.

"About that." Cheese froze. "Wait your how. You have legs." I asked. "I was cursed by a witch but I'll live." Cheese sighed. "does Max know." I asked. "NO." Cheese yelled. "Ok fine." I say. "And I see you and Ross are doing fine." Cheese smirked. "What are you smirking at." I smiled.

"Congrats girl I never knew you and Ross would be THAT close." Cheese laughed. "Thanks and I got a place for spells and everything for a mermaid to live." I smile. "What do you mean." Cheese asked. "You have to tell Max." I asked. "No he wont like me." Cheese sniffed.

"No he will because I told him about me ok. I took a chance. I told him because I needed ocean supply and a place to make spells." I say. I start to tear up. "To save the baby." Cheese says slowly. I nod. "Well then we better get back then." Cheese smiled. I nod and smile.

We start to swim. Then we looked at each other and smirked. We raced half way back. I stopped and went to the surface for air. "I'm sorry but I'm not as fast as you are." I smiled. "Ya I know let me help you." Cheese asked. "No I-I got it." I breath. "Look we need to get you back before its to late." Cheese said worried.

I nod. Then I was out.

Cheese POV: (Who would of known)

I made it back with y/n. I made sure I got the Lavender. "Ross." I yelled. "Cheese is that you." Ross asked. He came down the stairs. "Yes get Max. I got y/n." I command. He nodded and went upstairs. I got out quickly and dried off me and y/n. I put the lavender on the table.

"Cheese when did you get here." Max asked. "No time find lilac and silk from the shelf." I asked. I got a bowl and put some world-pool water in it. "Here you go." Max says. "Thanks know go help Ross get y/n. Ross its ok nothing bad is going to happen." I yell.

"Then how did she faint." Ross asked. "I have seen this to many times and have never failed." I chuckle. "Cheese what's going on why do you know all this." Max asked. "I need to get this spell on time or it will fail." I sighed. I put some Lavender, lilac and last Lavender.

Mixing them with my powers. I said a spell in a dead language. I put it in a smaller bowl and go up to Ross. I grab a few hairs from his head. "Ow what was that for." Ross asked. "Because the baby doesn't know if it has to be a merman,mermaid or human. But with this it can be both." I sighed.

"Every second it changes and it shapes different meaning." "It hurts her every move." Ross frowned. "Yes. Ever since the start." I say. I bring the bowl up to her mouth. "But nothing to worry she probably didn't feel a thing." I smiled. Y/n puts her hand on my arm.

I put the bowl back on the table. "Ross." Y/n says weakly. He goes over. "Yes I'm here." Ross smiled. "Its ok I'll be fine. I should of told you."  Y/n frowned to Ross. "Um Cheese and I will let you to be." Max smiled. He brings me up stairs. "Why didn't you tell me." Max asked.

"Because I didn't want you to be scared of me or take advantage." I frowned. "Why would I be mad. Even advantage." Max asked. "Because I'm a full born." I say. "And I take advantage how." Max asked. "Because I have Gems and diamonds on my tail. Anyone would kill a full born mermaid to be rich." I whisper.

"I'm not like other people." Max frowned. He looked really sad. What have I done. I embrace him with a hug. "I'm sorry Max. I should of told you." I sniffed.

I want to know if you guys want me to make to book end on a cliff hanger so it would be more interesting.
