Chapter 27

I woke up to the sound of Ross and Ruby. "Sorry did we wake you." Ross asked. "Its fine." I smiled.

"Mommy." Ruby said. She was on the bed next to Ross. "Hey sweetie." I yawned. "I'm hungry." Ruby frowned.

I was a little confused about how she got here. "Ruby who brought you here." I asked. "Max and Cheese." Ruby said.

"They stayed here until I woke up." Ross said. "Oh ok um I'll bring Ruby to the cafeteria do you want anything." I asked.

"Anything will do." Ross shrugged. "We wont be long." I nodded. Ruby held out her arms so I could pick her up.

I gave Ross a kiss and picked Ruby up. Then I carried her to the elevator. I set her down. "No." Ruby whined.

"I cant carry you all the time." I sighed. She wouldn't let go. I wonder she's not shy around people in the office.

"When we get food then you'll have to walk." I said. She nodded and sniffled. Now I felt bad like really bad.

I bend down and smiled. "Wanna get a smoothie." I asked. She nodded with a frown wiping her tears away.

The elevator dinged and I picked her up. "But you said you did not want to carry me anymore." Ruby questioned.

"I changed my mind." I smiled. She smiled and hugged me. I found the cafeteria and went to the smoothie making place first.

"What would you like." The lady asked. I told Ruby all the options. "I'll have the wild berry." I said.

"Me too." Ruby said. "One mini and 2 large wild berry." I told the lady. She made the smoothies and I paid.

Then went to the food isle. We mainly went to the fish isle but then I remembered of Ross. We picked some things out and headed back.

Ruby ran into the room. "Daddy, daddy look what I got." Ruby yelled laughing. "That's cool." Ross said.

"We got you one too." Ruby said. I handed Ross his smoothie and some food. "Wild berry." Ross questioned.

"Yeah sorry I don't know what kind is your favorite." I frowned. "Don't be I've been meaning to try this one." Ross smiled.

"Really its my favorite kind." I laughed. He took another sip. We ate breakfast and talked about the park.

"You know Adam is going to kill both of us." I sighed. "Just think on the bright side." Ross said.

"It's gonna be so much with Max, Tim, Cheese, their kid and Galileo." I said. Then I remembered about Cheese.

"Oh my god I totally forgot about that." I gasped. "For got about what." Ross asked. "Cheese she's gonna have a baby." I smiled.

"Does Max know." Ross asked. "I don't think so." I shrugged. "Why not." Ross asked. "I don't know." I said.

Ross shifted in the bed and held his side. He squinted his face. "When did she tell you." Ross sighed.

"The day I found out about me as well." I frowned. "Found out what mommy." Ruby asked.

"Soon your gonna have a baby sister or brother." I said. "Really." Ruby gasped. I nodded. "If we have to then we will move." Ross said.

"I don't even have a job." I said. "You don't need one." Ross shrugged. "I have to do something." I said.

"Ruby cant go to a real school and maybe the baby wont either." Ross said. "Your right there but." I said.

"No butts the only thing you should be worrying about is the family." Ross smiled. I smiled back and held his hand.

"What would I do without you." I asked smiling. Ross looked tired. The meds the doctors gave him must make him sleepy.

"Get some rest I better check up on the house incase they burned it down." I joked. Ross nodded and yawned.

I got up and grabbed my smoothie it was almost empty. "I'll see you guys later ok Ruby." Ross yawned again.

She nodded and gave Ross a hug. I gave him a kiss and we headed out the door. "Call me when you wake up." I said.

"Yep." Ross smiled. Then he closed his eyes and fell asleep. Ruby and I headed back home.

"When is mine(mine is correct) new baby gonna get here." Ruby asked. "Well it has to grow like you." I said.

"But where is it though." Ruby asked. "In my belly like you were. Baby's have to be born from somewhere." I said.

We got out of the car. Ruby held out her pointer finger and lightly poked my stomach. Then she laughed.

I poked hers back and smiled. We walked to the door and I opened it. "Hey guys." I said.

"Good timing I need your help." Cheese asked. I nodded and we walked into the kitchen. "How did you tell him." Cheese asked.

"Who." I asked. "Ross when you found out about Ruby." Cheese said. "Oh I didn't he kind of found out." I said.

"How should I tell Max. Put the test in the bathroom trash when he throws it away. Or just plane out tell him." Cheese said.

"This time I just plane out told Ross I don't even remember if Max knows." I said. The front door opened and closed.

"He's here." Cheese whispered. "Cheese just tell him he'll be happy anyway you tell him." I smiled.

She nodded and took deep breaths. I pushed Cheese to the living room. In the nicest way possible.

"Cheese what's wrong." Max asked. "Nothing she just wants to tell you something." I smiled. "I-I'm." Cheese said.

Max grabbed her hands. "You can tell me anything Cheese no matter what." Max said. "I-I'm pregnant." Cheese finally said.

"Really." Max asked. She nodded. His smile was so big. "Yes I'm going to be a dad." Max yelled. He swung Cheese around.

Then hugged her. Cheese looked happier then ever. "So is mommy." Ruby yelled smiling. "Oh congratulations." Max said. 

"You too." I said. "Oh my gosh I cant believe I'm gonna be a father." Max smiled. It made me smile to see them happy. 

Ruby yawned and laid down on the couch. "Looks like its someone's nap time." I said. "No I'm not tired." Ruby yawned.

I picked her up. "I'll be right back." I said. Then I brought her to her room. She was already asleep when I opened her door.

I laid her down and tucked her in. Then walked out and shut her door. "Guys we need to talk." I frowned.
