Chapter 20

"What are you saying y/n." Ross asked. I shake my head holding back my tears. "Just say it." Ross said. "I don't want to." I sobbed. He was holding back tears as well. I couldn't say it. I couldn't take it I hugged Ross. He hugged back. "I don't want to leave you Ross." I finally cry.

"We'll be upstairs when your ready." Cheese frowned. They went up the stairs. "Do what you have to." Ross sighed. "I will but I want you to do it with me." I frowned. We let go. "Me to." Ross said. "I'll call you every day. If not 2 a day." I chuckle. Ross chuckled as well. We went up the stairs.

Cheese keeping her distance from Ruby. I got Ruby and headed up stairs. I got my bag with cloths in it. "Where are you staying." Ross asked. "I-I don't know." I say. I turn around and he hugs me. "How long will you be gone." Ross asked. I didn't answer. "Oh." Ross whispered.

"Don't worry I'll let you see her. You wont miss any birthdays. I'll do anything I can." I sniffle. "Back in high school my dad didn't want me hanging out with you." Ross frowned. "I guess I know why now." Ross sighed. I nodded. "Y/n we got to go if we want to make it." Adam yelled from downstairs.

I took a deep breath and walked downstairs. I said goodbye to everyone. And got in Adams car. Cheese got in hers and we drove to Adams house. "I'll call for help." Cheese said. I nodded and she left. Cheese can connect to every mermaid that can help us.

But we don't know if any of them will help.

TIME SKIP BECAUSE IDK.

There was a knock on the door. Cheese opens it and gets thrown. I get up and see mermaids and mermen I think. "We heard your call and want to help." The girl said. I run up to Cheese and help her up. "I wasn't even that close. Why did you throw me." Cheese snapped.

"You are a threat to mercreatures." The guy says. "No I'm the good one. The threat is over there." Cheese said pointing to Ruby. I get up and go to Ruby. "No Ruby's the hybrid." I say. "This is what you call us for. Another hybrid you are in a lot of trouble." They say.

"Just please help her. She's my friend and I said that I would help." Cheese sighed. "We are the last hybrids alive you know why." They asked. I shook my head. "Because the power its so strong it kills us. We can do anything skip time or pause it." They smirk.

"Just please help her got through this. I'll do anything." I asked. "Fine only because we don't want to die out." The girl said. I thanked them and they said a spell. We didn't feel anything different. "There know get some rest you'll need it in the morning." The girl sighed.

"What spell did they use." I asked. "It was a combination of time and something else." Cheese sighed. "What do you mean." I asked. "In the morning time will pass in the morning to when Ruby has her powers under control." Cheese frowned. "What will happen to everyone else." I asked.

"They'll age but there looks will stay the same." Cheese said. "If we are lucky hybrids are in there own world when they are born maybe it will be a few years." Cheese questioned. "Maybe." I said. We got ready for bed. Then I remembered. "What about Adam." I asked.

"We'll wake up in a different place. So be prepared." Cheese demanded. I nodded. Cheese went in the guest room and I went in my old one. "Ruby I don't know if you can hear me but please if you can don't make it long. I don't want to stay away too long." I whispered. Ruby smiled.

I get ready and fall asleep. I wake up and see that I'm in a different place. It looked familiar too familiar. Looking around I see photos of a little girl. Ross and I are in them too. Its way too real. "Y/n." Someone said. I look and see Ross. "Hey are you ok." Ross asked sitting down.

"Where am I." I asked. "In our room. Are you ok. You hit your head really badly." Ross asked worried. I look around some more and see a photo of the two hybrids. "Um who are they." I asked pointing at the picture. "Amara and Chuck they are twins." Ross chuckled.

"Mommy." A little voice says. She jumps on the bed and fall in my lap. I couldn't move for a minute. So I was the one who missed out on her growing up. She was about 4 years old. "Hey Ruby." I smiled. I gave her a hug and she was smiling and laughing. "You talk in your sleep." She says.

"Oh ya I bet you do too." I said tickling her. She squealed in laughter. I stopped and she got down. "Hungry." Ruby jumped up and down. "Ok what would you like." I asked. "Lobser." She said. Yep she's mine alright. I got out of bed and walked down stairs with Ross and Ruby.

I see Cheese. "Help Ruby I'm gonna talk to Cheese for a minute." I asked. "Ok." Ross smiled. I walk over. "Cheese what happened." I asked. "I don't know. I just woke up in Max's Room." Cheese sighed. "The last thing I remember is the hybrids at Adams house." Cheese said.

"Turns out they are twins not 'hybrids' and our best friends." I sighed. Ding Dong. "I'll get it." I said. I motioned Cheese to come with me. I open the door and see Amara and Chuck. "Here take these it'll recover your memories before you swiped them yesterday." Amara sighed.

"Why would we do that. And when did we get back here." I asked. "Last week know be careful. And Y/n before you drink this prepare Ross for something huge." Chuck frowned. "What did I do." I asked. "Just know that it'll crush his heart. And yours." Chuck said.

"Why mine." I asked. "Lets say you both took a break." Amara sighed. Amara left. "I told him about what happened with your memory." Chuck frowned. "We aren't as mean as we were when you met us. You helped us too." Chuck smiled. I shut the door and looked at Cheese.

"Ok lets both do it at the same time." Cheese said. I nodded. Uncapping the cork and setting it down. "1...2...3.." I said. We drank it tasted so bad. Cheese fell to the ground. "Cheese." I asked. Then I blacked out. Not knowing what will happen next.
