Before we start, just to clarify the rumors, I heard the last director was fired?
Oh no, we parted on entirely amicable--

Like literally set on fire.
That...that is normally how the Magistra deals with issues, yes, but no, not in this case. They just needed to prioritize their pursuit of a higher education and we wish them all the best in their studies. :)

So, ahem, SilverInStars, I hear that you're taking over ParanormalLovers for us! How do you feel?"

So, ahem, SilverInStars, I hear that you're taking over ParanormalLovers for us! How do you feel?"

A little like I'm eight and my mom's given me my older sister's fairy costume to try on. I've watched it be handled with care and receive a lot of love. It's big wings to fit into, and I can only hope to make my own memories with it- Go on our spooky adventures with all the community members. (Maybe kidnap a few more on the way). I'm excited, I'm nervous and I'm fluttery. Most of all though, I feel really lucky to have such a strong community and friends to rely on.
-Ps: Make me little ghost cookies and I'm putty in your hands forever.

Hear that, folks? If you would like to seduce our Head Cupid you know what to do.
So what is Paranormal Lovers? What can an agent hope to get out of the profile?

I believe that we at ParanormalLovers are the true advocates of love and all the pretty sparkles that come with it (anyone ever date a sprite before?) We are home to the little cherubs, not just the cute ones with wings, but the bloodthirsty ones with fangs reaching past their chins as well. We like a little action with our romancing- that includes manipulative poltergeists trying to take over the world.

We woe over all things evil, the reapers of death make our hearts skip a beat. Those rugged fallen angels make us blush, and we all secretly want to be ravished by a shifter (unless vamps are your thing- then it's the kiss of death you're vying for *winks*).

We understand that love is not always easy, I mean, what do you do if you're a hunter and you've fallen for the next name on your list. It's forbidden, but oh so enticing. We're the ones who are running around sporting little banners screaming for happy endings, but at the same time will cry with your characters when things don't work out.

We're a subsidiary of the #ParanormalCommunity profile, and a place for all those who like a dash of Romance in their nightly ghost hunting trips. So pop by and share your stories with us! We do bite...with permission of course *smirks*

You all sound amazing!

What sorts of books do you currently have? I see a history of prompts and interviews: will you bringing those back? Do you have any other book ideas at the moment?

Why thank you, we completely agree *grins*

Books, books, books....well, we like to dabble in a whole lot. One of the perks of having Cupid energy is that you're always buzzing around all corners, bow and arrow out and ready!

We have recommendations on all the spookalicious books, which understand exactly what it takes to tumble(or fumble) into bed with the supernatural. Research is important people! And what better way to learn the 'art of ghost seduction' than from your experienced peers of paranormal romance.

For the same reason, we will be bringing interviews back! We like to keep the community updated on who's making out with whom at the back of Lucifer's couch. (She's been grumbling). So stay on guard everyone, we will find out- for Lucy's sake at least. The prompts were a fun run, yes? Well that's why we will be hosting more of those, there as been a slight decline in Paranormal babies and the Lady Magistra from @ParanormalCommunity has asked us if we can do a little something about the population. So we're very interested in promoting more romances *sips champagne*.

As for other book ideas, well this month we had a goblin break into our idea vault- If anyone sees a suspicious looking little guy with a pointed red hat- please send him our way. Until then, we will be busy brainstorming for new ones and are also reaching out to the community for suggestions as to what fun activities/books they would like to see happen in the future.

So if anyone has an idea to share, we very much open to listening!

What are your favorite sorts of romances? What would you like to see more of?

What romances do you think have been overdone or would like to see less of?

That's a haunting question. Well it's really a vast community, so we have a lot of flexibility there. If you ask Lucy, she'd probably say 'Fallen Angels'. I, of course love all Cupid romances...it's a hell-hound eat hell-hound world, and we all want to get hitched before Lucy's hair turns grey.

Each kind of romance has its own charm, whether it's a Fae who has to pick up her skirts and march down to hell to save her fallen angel lover, or a demon who falls for a blind oracle. (Just throwing ideas out there *whistles innocently*). It's really the beauty of the story woven carefully by the silver-tongue author that strings us along.

Overdone romance! *gasps* Why there is no such thing! (Vampires). To be anything but all-accepting would be going against the fine print clause of our contract. (Vampires).
Really though, we're very glad for the exuberance that comes with writing all these books, it takes honest time and effort. (Vampires).

So there might have been a situation last month, things got bite-y. But I'm not going to let that cloud my opinion. (Vampires).

...So you're saying you want less vampire fiction in your inbox and you'd like to encourage the Collective to expand their idea of who is loveable within the paranormal world?

Yes, there are so many paranormal beings that could really use some horror/tender loving. If you need ideas, you could always check out our prompts! We will try to have them varied xD.
I wouldn't say we want less vampire fiction, as much as we want more of everything else! Goblins, sprites, necromancers, Oni, Nagas, Tengu- the diversity is very much appreciated.

Love all around it is!

What are some tips for navigating a romance with a preternatural creature?

It really depends creature to creature. Observation! This is very important, as with all creatures whose reason for existence science is yet to uncover, preternatural beings require that extra consideration.

Are they too sniffy? Well there might be some canine DNA in your significant other urging them to bury their face into your neck for comfort. Now, we do NOT encourage an unwelcome breach of personal space, but it is good to understand, and take into consideration the unknowns that are involved with dating or trying to woo a preternatural. Talk to them, don't leave yourself to be ignorant of your significant other's identity.

Zombies, vampires, shifters or witches-Don't go by the labels! It's important to be open-minded. You may say Preternatural, your neighbor may say supernatural, or yet another person might believe they are one and the same. We are who we decide to be, no matter the tag attached: especially to the unknown. So unless your significant other tells you that they are a preternatural- do not assume.

Once you get over that bridge, it might be good to talk to your partner about how you want to conduct the relationship. Your vampire girlfriend burns in the sun- be prepared for night time dates by taking a nap during the day. The consideration will definitely prove fruitful. Your zombie crush is feeling a little self conscious- make sure to let them know how beautiful you think they are. It's all about the little things sometimes. Also in many cases, your lover might be on the run from hunters- communication is key. If you're not ready to uproot your life, let them know! Your lover dabbles in witchcraft- learn the days important to them, take interest in finding out their favorite tricks!

There's no secret recipe really, it's all about love and consideration.

There's a uh....another rumor going around. This one says that you are so incredibly beautiful that none dare see your face for fear that everything else will forever seem dull by comparison.

Is this true?

Well, I personally like to think I would brighten up everyone's day with my face. But, since no one dare look at it, I guess we'll never know. Unless, one of you finds yourself brave enough...? *winks* I like to enjoy my own romances too. Anyone with a bit of guts and a lot of paranormal loving is welcome to try...we can share a bit of wine in Persephone's garden.

Perhaps we should talk later. Alone. Say around 3 am by the old bridge under the moonlight?

You've got yourself a date darling. (^w^)

Woo! Well this has been the best interview all night!

I won't see you all later, Collective.
